Sure, sure, sure, sure. I know there are a lot of haters. And I myself am a metal head.

But regardless, I found this music video rather inspiring and touching. Perhaps because of the surgery scene, and things being quite ... bleak for many people; of course having a bunch of women all together like that freaking out is (rare)... different(very rare) and no doubt a cinematic ploy...

... I found the rest very real and very intense. Perhaps I can relate to the frustrations that she had (her getting upset is at the rejection of Def Jam Studio's to take her on), especially the last few years myself. But I'm sure we all can relate to it.

Pulling out of a horrible situation, rejection, and then blossoming (as obviously done by her). = Inspiring.


Call me a cat, or anything else. But I still gotta say...

Well I personally believe that all of her work has at least in majority been directed by her =x not 100% sure but she says it and it makes sense. They all have similar... feels to them, if that makes ANY senseXD!

 

yeah right. she has the complete and utmost power over everything she does, it's obvious =o it's her ideas basically but this one is special i believe. This could be my favorite of her. Now i wanna see Black Jesus / Bloody Marry / Electric Chapel

 

She actually manages to make me interested XD which is fascinating. Mindyou even I do like her music! :3

 

Well she needs to be more original next time. She always takes out "inspiration" from other movies/videos

Btw, i miss old lady gaga that just need it 4m to cap your attention with a good song and a awesome video [Paparazzi] and not this one that takes 8 minutes intro, yes it was good but i just miss old Lady Gaga.

Uhm, you're kinda wrong about her "originality"
Her whole point in the first album was that no matter who you are, if you wok your way to feed the mainstream "pop culture" that you could earn fame&money and that's exactly what happened. She was still original without a doubt but her second album is not like anything I've heard before. She's still a work in progress with her creativity and she evolves. But I see your point, her first album was more of "pop" and thrill pumping club songs. You can't dance to her new songs in a club, no way but that's still okay. I like the overall production and lyrics.

What I really am disappointed about her is that she's all about rights and supporting each other yet she seems limited to only protect the rights of gay community/ art people and "freaks". I except her to be more aware about other things also since she's a very powerful woman with a lot of money.

 

I wasn't talking about her music in her first album. I was talking about her videos: they were simple, some with a good choreography as always and a story. Now she need 13 minutes to do that. Thats is what i miss from her. And also there is to much Madonna in her videos or fragments about old movies.

His music in general i like how she evolved and are more personal or songs that u can identify [Born This Way] i just hate the fact that a 4:00 min song has a 13:00 video just to tell a story, maybe it just me

I love Lady Gaga. All her work is amazing. Considering she was majoring in Arts before she went to focus on music.

@ Ehpsie: You always seem find something to disagree on about anything. I love her videos. They are pure originality. Who cares if the videos were driven from another video. She turned it around and made it her own special rendition.

What you just said is like telling people who are one American Idol or something that they can't sing lets say " Hit me with your best shot" by Pat Benetar because she sang it. Or LeAnn Rimes isn't allowed to sing Patsy Cline songs cause it wasn't hers..


Every one has people that inspire them. We wouldn't get creatively inclined (if that's the word(s) im looking for) in something if it wasn't for such people.
