Inactivity? How long at max?

I'm going away for a while but I'd like to play again when I return. I might be gone for a few months and at max, maybe a year. How long is the allowed time for me to be inactive before my account gets deleted?

 

After 6 months of inactivity all the characters on the account get deleted.

 

Okay, so I have to log in every 6months or less so I can save my characters.. Can I just log in the game and log out immediately? Will that work even if I just log in one character and the entire account is safe?

 

Just logging in and out is fine you don't got to stay logged on for a certain time.

Apparently you can also log into the site gamezaion.com and that also stops your account from getting deleted for inactivity tho I'm not 100% sure if this is true, maybe staff will be able confirm this.
