IP Ban in our shop

We have a problem in my shop right now.. We think our shop got IP banned.. We can't open CA's website and Aion Client say's "cannot connect to authorization server" at first we think that it's just like a serverdown but in our neighbor shop they can still play CA.. It happens half hour after ashtar temporary banned my account and my whole shop is afftected.. Many of my legion members in Unity played in this shop.. It's already 29hrs..

please do something about this..

Hmm that is weird..

As far as i know GM's aren't allowed to IP Ban for this reason, only account bans..

 

I didnt IP ban you. I did a temporary ban for 24 hours like you said and since I didnt see you online after your ban should be have been up, I did an unban on your account just to be sure. This is from my chat log:

2010.12.18 11:17:36 : Account ID ***** was successfully banned for 1440 minutes
2010.12.18 11:17:44 : You kicked player Phaethon from the game


Okay Dyz try to log in again and let me know.

I dont know what to think Dyz. Kinda strange is all. Just try logging in again to the game and let me know if you are able to.

If you were banned you would get the message of " Cannot access thru this IP " or smth ...

 

The policy is to do account bans and only IP ban if there are repeat offenses from the same IP

 

i think it because my other friend was "MULTI VOTE" i think that the reason ..

 

Phaethon, Ash and I did a test. I banned my legit account and when I tried to login, it gave me a "You cannot access the game through this IP" not a "Cannot access authorization server". I then had her unban my legit and was capable of logging in the game fine. With the "Cannot access authorization server" it is possible that someone could have screwed around with the Aion client or something that you guys use and caused some issue. I would check to make sure that no one has tampered with it.


You also said that the CA website won't load for you. An in-game ban would not effect that. It sounds more like an issue with your internet connection.

*EDIT* You said something about a friend multi-voting? If I am not mistaken people who are caught doing that get an IP-Ban placed against them which would then infer that the ban was done by Carl or Darkmax meaning you'd have to speak with them.

 

Yes if you have a friend multi-voting from the same shop that could definitely be the cause. In that case the ip would have been banned by Carl and there is nothing I can
do.

 

so you should do something about that "friend of yours" Dyz.
your Legion Unity just founded recently and you guys are the only legion who can bring a good fight to us.
don't let him ruined your CA Career!!
don't let that guy play in your shop anymore!!

EDIT: try to repair your client using NCSoft launcher or re-install it Dyz. maybe doing it would fix your problem.

@TS: you should now that Carl is very sensitive about the website...

 

You can change ip i think (At least i can). Try that. You need to contact your ip provider though.

 

So I guess Unity is no more will miss you Phae have fun in new game or whatever you do.

anywai this is boul... and on enternet caffe ppls use those and u can go and vote and then wake up banned lol is f..ing boul ...
