Is Gamezaion dying?

I was asking myself this after being in a group I couldn't dismiss, neither leave, neither change policy or invite more ppl or at least posting recruitment offers, meanwhile i was running around danaria trying to get blood marks while falling like every 5 minutes into a invisible trap that made me dive into a really weird infinite ocean and dying after a long freefall.. fail. And now I can't help to remember the like 10 I.S. runs I lost cus our dear friend hyperion buged, or the 100 times i got killed in a lag that freezes my char, screen, mouse, rooter, the lamp in my desk and my ceiling fan.. fail 2. So before finding a 3ird fail I want to know, is this server failing/dying? its safe to keep spending time in here avoiding bugs ignoring lag attacks and gearing characters? or should i move my ass to ncsoft aion right now and start gearing cus this server has like 2months left of life? are gms real? do they exist? ive never seen one alive.. fail 3, and lastly, is someone fixing this or at lest working on it?

Is up to everyone what to do here with all that you have wrote, which in good part is true.
Updates are very slow lately, is tiresome.

 

I've been hearing "is the server dying, are people leaving, is there gonna be a server wipe" since 2011.
All private servers are bound to have bugs and problems, but these bugs and problems are someday gonna be fixed. And then people will find other minor bugs and problems, and complain about those. It never ends.

Until then all you can do is report every possible bug you see in the bug report thread and wait until they're fixed. Nothing is dead and no one is leaving. And your items are safe from wipes for now, in case you were wondering.

 

The server is only dead when the server don't exist any more and there is no one online ever. As I see it. There are still a few hundred people playing. Which is alot more than any other server I played.

 

The "Group/Alliance bug" usually happens when a member goes into Mix_Fight, the alliance gets "locked" and you can't leave nor invite someone else, if you go into Mix_Fight and leave it, you would be able to leave it, or relogging, OR stay logged out (from that character) for +5 minutes if there's no Mix_Fight open of course

From the looks of it the server did seems to have a smaller population as compared to the past. However there are still many people around, you can try counting them using either the search function or well, sit in sanctum and start counting if you are bored.

Aion not dying at all its still 2 many dam people lol 50 people on a private server is a lot and they prob got about 300 or more people so yea i don't think it will be gone anytime soon

 

the last patches wasnt the best ....is a huge difference from 2 years till now...i mean is not same fun anymore but hell if u take a look around ppls still playing online games which are old as fk..mean lineage/sro...etc. every old game will be a new game for new incoming generations of players^^

silkroad was the 1st kinda....40 servers had 7'8 years ago and 3 k players each server and ppl still play it hard and donate a lot on privates! it have...12 years old or so now.
