Is this not a free flying server?

I'm confused, your site advertised free flying, but I can't seem to fly in the usually restricted areas. I also downloaded the override. Did you guys change the server?

As in, they messed things up and plan to change it? Or it just sucks balls?

 

The free fly is bugged after a major update it should be back to normal.

 

Actually it was way more eff'd up when it was free-fly in every areas...

 

Gotcha, I mean, I'll stick around if we will eventually have free flying. I played retail forever and it's just more fun to not be restricted. I can understand if things got messed up after an update. Are the restrictions so that it doesn't get messed up more, because I just realized I can glide into the restrictions. Which after reading the thread you showed me zee, doesn't look like it is legal.

 

Yeah that's the way you can abuse flyin' but I suggest you not doing that , since if you get caught doing that... You'll receive a punishment depends on whether if it's your first time or not ( Read more in my Signature )

 

Yeah, thanks, I just read it. I wasn't aware that it was illegal. I was under the assumption that it was a free flying server, I don't just purposely break the rules, haha. Any idea when free flying will be back up?

 

Glide and fly are not the same thing.We punish fly abusers because they can attack people on the ground whilw flying and when gliding you can't attack.

 

Well ,a few areas will be brought back as free-flying zones as soon as our new Devs manage to release some major updates...
But for the most important PvP areas such as Balaurrea (Inggison , Silentera Canyon , Gelkmaros) they'll remain as non-flying areas (except for the magical aether gathering spots ofc)

 

Oh, I get. Yeah I can understand that, I'd get pissed off too if someone attacked me while flying. I'll just wait until they fix it. Thanks for the info guys!

Just a suggestion, maybe your admin should consider letting people know you plan to fix the free flying. It's a really cool feature that will get you guys some attention. At least let the players know it's temporarily down.
