Just hit 60 on my Ranger, Questions.

So I hit 60 on my ranger a couple of days ago and started doing Cruci(to get 2 shot for some insignias) and run AM/EF every time I can with no real luck for drops except the bow. My armor is just complete junk, so I was wondering how everyone started getting geared up enough to start pvping and get that rediculous gear I see 99% of the community have . Haven't been able to find a legion either as LFG chat is spammed with WTT. So any help/tips would be great, thank you.

 

Crafting is one of the best way to start gearing up while voting for credits.

 

You can do instances like EF and AM to gear with the best PvE as of now named Primal, as to weapons look for group that wants to do Vasharti best PvE weps and fuse. Im been lucky to find aq nice group, I only need 1 part for Primal Plate, Primal Chain and Primal Cloth set, and they will be complete set if Im still lucky to have a leggings. I think Tuali is bug.

 

If you want pve gear that is good for pvp get kahrun...You can get kahrun symbols through daily & weekly quests in both sarpan and tiamaranta ...now i assume since you new you only have 1 character? Well you will want to populate your account with 8 characters...make them an easy pve solo class such as SM or cleric...Once you've done that you will be able to get around 500 symbols easily per day by doing the quests...I only say that kahrun is better than Primal because of the fact that it gives Magic resist bonus instead of shitty pdef bonus that primal gives...The jewlery is also very very nice for support classes and all this gear sells higher than primal...and on the plus side doesn't rely on grouping to get good gear. The weapons are also very nice ..while they lack crit strike bonus that is essential to rangers they have better stats than vasharti weapons oh and very nice HP bonus...As mentioned above crafting is also a good way to get gear whether you wear it yourself or trade it to vip credits...If you'd like i may have a few ranger items i can give you that i used to get mine rank 1 you can pm me via forum or in game if you play Siel server

Tuali isn't bugged I duo this instance every other day (Sm + Cleric) and we have no problems with any of the bosses...If your having problems killing him you really do need to have a spiritmaster to kill him easily otherwise you have to tank Overload which is damn hard to do unless you have a full PVE geared templar FUll hp/ block + 2 clerics ....even then its a pain. What we do is clear the area of mobs let the cleric take agro by soloing for a while then I come in on sm and dps...when he goes to use overload NOBODY MOVE or else he will loose sight of you go back to his spawn spot and regen hp..just use magic implosion to remove overload as soon as it pops up and go back to happily killing his annoying ass.

Wow thank you guys for all the help. Looking into crafting and I will start doing the kahrun stuff tomorrow when I have a little more time. I really do love the ranger but I feel I get taken down extremely quickly. I have the AM bow with a crit bow fused to it, so my main concern at the moment is really just to be able to survive long enough to do some damage and Kahrun looks like a great way to be able to do it. I play Ranger Elyos side and Spiritmaster Asmo. Elyos is Sidewayz and Asmo is Felt, figuring out which I like best trying to gear them both and go from there

There's a lot for you to explore on the game. Don't rush by donating money right away to earn credits. You can actually vote and while voting, you can go to instances to hunt boss that drops items/armors and weaps that you can use while completing your PVP gears. Crafting is fun though but sometimes, it's boring like hell. Learn alchemy first for you to craft scrolls and potions. You can convert ingredients using aethers so you don't need to essenctap.
