Kinah Reduction

So I heard that together with the reset of kills, they also reduced kinahs?

Coz its kinda unfair. Any Ams or players wanna discuss something that might help me.

How many percentage of kinah did they get?

 

As far as I know 70% of kinah had been reduced.

thats a big reduction. Why do they need to do that?

 

Kinah rates were cut as well.

 

In a last 2.0 update so many kinahs it will up in Billions kinah in 2.7 or 3.0 it cut the kinah like: 1b to 200 m only

Kinah got reducted because of OP prices, was almost impossible to purchase house items and houses on auction.

Because some people were charging like 10b a house or something.

Yeah. However it's not all bad there's alot of cheaper items now especially supply's potions, food scrolls.

I got 1000 fine recovery serums for 200m. ( 20m = 100 serums) before the kinah reduction it was about 70-100 for 100.

However these prices wont last for ever and I'm more then sure will rise in time so I suggest stocking up fast!

 

This kinah reduction and new kinah rates is really helpful for us non-crafters.

I'm having a hard time before buying serums/potions on broker, at least i can easily buy 100pcs now.

i got no questions regarding this kinah reduction specially when it will favor the equality and no over prices in broker... kinah cut off percentage is also good... at least its x10 than retail... it really helps a lot.

crafting now is worth it coz people buys your crafted supplies due to cheaper items

 

the reduction was around 88-92%, not 70% and yes it has improved the economy a lot. Just shows how much of the kinah on the server (lumiel) was from the broker bug...wow

 

I used to be able to farm kinah like a beast, now its alot more challenging with the daily cap & rate cut. Like this economy alot more

 

This thread is pretty late, don't you think?? And there's nothing to discuss, really. What's done is done and players who disagree with it and find it unfair can't do anything about it.

The reduction's purpose was to give more value to the Kinah and Housing Auctions. With all the Kinah before it was reduced, everyone can bid on a place for 10b. There is no competition, whatsoever. It was funny too how bidding ends in less than a day after the auction started because of this. Everything was sold in ridiculously high prices too but regardless of this, they still buy them. Throwing away Kinah for something ridiculous or useless was never a big deal in the past. Why? Because the rate was high, everybody has it and it was very easy to get.

But after the reduction, this all changed in days and I personally think that it actually served its purpose. Now we can trade Kinah for more valuable items given that it's very in demand right now. House Auctions are more thrilling and has more meaning than before and most specially, cheaper stuffs in the broker.

And for the question how much percentage they reduced, as AM Trainee GugaNinja said, 70 or so % was reduced last Kinah update.

78% was the exact reducing percentage. How do I know? I had kinah *10b exactly* mailed to myself from myself. The mails were reduced from 1b kinah to 220 million.

This was done because players had an abundance of kinah, and had found ways to abuse our trade brokers to get infinite kinah. As such, a wipe was needed to restore SOME balance to our servers.
