Launcher won't open

Hi,

The GamezBD launcher will not open after this patch.
When I redownload the launcher from GamezBD website and open it, it will appear.
But then it will be stuck at "Updating Launcher ... 100%"
And when I try to "Force check" it from settings, it will give an error message saying "Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The application is terminating."
When I click on "Ok." the launcher will freeze and then close/crash by itself.
So I ended up redownloading, opening, being stuck at 100% in an endless loop.
And still the launcher does not work.

Then, I managed to update the launcher, it checked files and patched.
After it was all done, I could log in my account on the launcher.
Then I tried to check if the initial issue was resolved, so I closed the launcher, and tried opening it again.
But again it would not open.

I already set exceptions in Windows Defender/Firewall, but the launcher still won't open.
I have no anti-virus installed or running.

Update: Going to settings and re-selecting the BDO folder for the path in settings enabled the log-in window to show up on the launcher again and let me into the game.
However, closing the launcher and trying to open it again will result in the initial issue of the launcher not opening once more.
Please investigate.
