lifeskill players

    why the lifeskill rates are the same of the official server? this is a private server, right? pve players have less damage of the mobs, pvp players have increased rates to enchanting, but lifeskill players don't have nothing different of the official, we spend the same quantity in the recipes of cooking and alchemy, our farm and nodes gives the same quantity, our gathering gives the same resource rewards (increased drop rate doesn't affect it, cuz the rate already 100%), the server is in the beta phase, please increase our drop rates too, lifeskill is worthless in this situation, we spend so many hour to collect meat, eggs, milk and many other resources , spend so many time fishing, and it's don't gives return to us, we spend so many hours to collect resources to get 10-20 million of money while pve players can get this quantity in 3-5 minutes, so i ask again, please increase our rates too.

    no they don't, workers lvl only modify their working time and luck, don't increase the resources, lifeskill in this server is exactly the same of official servers with exception the exp, we spend the same quantity of items in recipes and the gather gives the same quantity of items.

    none of the lifeskill actually are minimally profitable, trade is disabled so traders don't exist in this server, fishing doesn't have utility here so the people only get fishing exp while their afk and 99% of times their fishes go to the trash, chefs don't have enough resources do make their recipes, the same thing about the gatherers, hunters doesn't exist here too, farmers don't have objective here, and alchemists doesn't have resources neither ways to get some of this resources quickly, shining powder are ridiculous to get, the same thing with the bloody tree knot, and its because the shining powder is so expensive in the actual rates to get just 1, and the bloody tree knot are so rare to get in the timber nodes/trees then become expensive too.

    lifeskill players only wanna make their thing, no matter if is crates to trade, meals to sell to other players or make crates too, fishes to sell or trade, or make alchemy stones and elixirs to sell to other players, we don't give problem and we won't be toxic to the server, we only wanna make our things without spend days to make 1 item.

    Life skills dont even work properly and yes workers do generate more resources cause thats the increased rates u get..

    I'm sorry but I disagree with you.

    To start, I don't understand why you are pointing the money issue. If you are just a life skiller, why do you need money in the first place? Afaik, most people will use that money to buy gear, for pvp and pve, which you don't do, apparently.
    Second, as I mentioned on another thread, I was usually sitting on the top of life skills.
    Cooks don't have resources? I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you are just lazy, taking me to the second point
    Gatherers: We have infinite gathering (unless something changed on the last few days) and with the increased droprates you can actually farm most stuff from killing mobs alone.
    Hunting: exists. Whale and khalk are bugged though
    Alchemy: super super easy here. Shining powder is easy to make if you know what you are doing. Bloody tree knots you can get from nodes, drops and gathering. I was making 300 a day just from nodes, so that's pure bullshit from your part.
    Farmers: Nani?

    To finish this post: you kinda don't have any idea of what you are doing if you mentioned all these things, which are completely wrong (except for hunting).

    Lifeskillers go out and gather their materials. ;) Thats why I stay away from it for the most part :D
    But For certain things I had to go out and manually gather too. Not all is supposed to come from workers. When making costumes for gems etc I had to skin animals etc. If you wanna get into alchemy, you need to suck of animals for their blood.
    Thats how lifeskills work. And with increased rates, you save work on here.

    That's exactly my point: most of the materials used for life skills can be easily obtained passively with lvling up and without effort because of the rates. If you add the weapon and armor melting... well, full wh. There were just a few key items that I had to go and gather by myself. This is why I don't see the point of people crying on forums about life skills. This is the second thread someone creates on this topic.

    I didn't know nodes gave more materials than official that's pretty neat. I just hope theirs some sort of balance between the amount you acquire via nodes, and how much time you spend at the storage processing it.

    removed that you can harvest from the same node, so now you have to run around to gather

    that's to be expected in preparation for the launch. I noticed that. I also noticed that the rates for gathering are increased: 4 of 7 plants gathered gave me a fruit.
    This prevents AFK R macro gatherers.

    My dudes. It was never intended to let you gather from the same resource over and over again. At some point this bug appeared and now got fixed. It was a clear bug. I dont understand lifeskillers. Well some of em at least..
    Lifeskill is not afk all day and have easy time. If you commit on playing the lifeskill way, why should you get everything afk? You still do most afk. Now you at least have something to do you cant afk or macro. Good that it got finally fixed.

    The recent fix to the infinite resource spawn is a great change, especially because that allowed to raise a gathering raits, which are pretty good now compared to what they were before.

    Howeather the fix for the cooking and alchemy recipes is a very questionable move in my opinion. For those who don't know before you could produce any coocking/alchemy product by using 1 ingredient of eatch type from the recipie insted of X amount of each ingredient. Some ppl may say that it was a bug, but i honestly thought that it is an intended change for the private server. The reason why i thought it's intended is because alchemy/coocking production requires A LOT of materials, especially the high tire products like meals and elexis, but the supply of those ingredients is non existent on a private server - the market place is constantly empty when it comes to material section. So i thought that having low requirement for craft is a trade-off solution to compensate the lack of supply from the market. For the few months i played on the privat server, i did all kinds of coocking/alchemy crafts and that was already quite hard to get all the needed materials by myself, with the latest change it became way way more harder and i can't see the reason for these - the previous system didn't heart anyone and even with the low reqirement for crafts it is a way less income then simple grinding on the spots.

    Unfortunately with these change we will not see any complicated cooking meals or alchemy elixirs on the market anymore after wipe. Coocking and Alchemy lifeskills will be not rewarding at all for the effort lifeskillers have to put into it. The economy and consumables diversity will be even more poor.

    If any of the Developers is reading these post, i would strongly recommend you to revert these change to the previous state or leave the recipie reqirements same as official, but buff the outcome for each craft (as you did with the gathering fix) so we will get more consumables and by side products for each craft we do - these way it will help to motivate ppl to do alchemy/cooking and it will lead to the market growth and consumables diversity for different play styles.

    As a life skiller, you shouldn't be buying the mats from the marketplace in the first place.
    You are forgetting that the rates on this server make things a lot easier. There are tons of "hard to get" mats that are simply obtainable by killing mobs. If you add gathering and worker nodes to this, it even get's better.

    It should stay as it is. Things are supposed to be "rare" in order to have value. You should not be getting things easy and just cashing it off as if it nothing.

    To sum this up, I completely disagree with you.

    Also, if you are Aboslut (ingame), this means that there will be no more afk macro R gathering, so it should definitely stay like this. The amount of hards and sharps that you get from gathering now is super absurd and will make people even richer.

    On what exactly do you disagree with me? I made 3 statements:1. Infinite resource fix and gathering rates increase is a great move. 2. Marketplace and Economy is completely non existing on the p-server. 3. Alchemy/Cooking rates should be buffed to encourage ppl to do it, so ppl who has no interest in life skills can get access to the huge variety of consumables that game offers.

    I'm sorry, but from your post i feel that you understood my statments in a different way.

    What Value you are talking about? i hope not the roleplay experience of running around and sucking poor ships blood. That statment has no sence at all! It's same as saying that item drop rates should be lowerd to x3 insted of x15 (or whatever rate we have right now) becaus ppl should work hard to get there gear and not jsut drop it after 1 hour of grind. Ppl who want to feel the Value play on official server. The only real value that matters is "silver per hour", and "silver per hour" from coocking/alchemy is completly shit campared to classic grind at the spots, that's why noone will do alchemy/cooking after wipe.

    Yes it's me and i have no idea why you even mention it here, it has no conection with the topic at all. I clearly stated that infinite resource fix was a great move right in the beginning of my post. And the buff to gathering doesn't help coocking at all since they only increased the chanses to drop additional stuff from gathering attpemts, but you still get the same amount. I actualy did go out and tested, i still get 1-4 meat from butching sheeps.

    Anyway, at the end i can speak only for myself. And with the change they did to alchemy/coocking recipies i see no reason to do it at all as a half-afk way of getting money. As well as i don't expect market of consumables to be active after wipe.
