Bug Description:

Unable to make the Magic Crystal of Infinity - Agility. Use ingredients found online or listed in the quest [Alchemy] Enhancing Crystals and game reports "Seems like this combination isn't working". Using Intermediate Alchemy tool and my Alchemy is at Artisan 2.​

How to reproduce/proof:

Use the following ingredients to attempt to make a Magic Crystal of Infinity - Agility.
1 x Fruit of the Sun
1 x 1st level Gemstone
2 x Melted Silver Shards
4 x Cloud Mushroom
1 x Magic Crystal of Enchantment - Agility

Either recipe has changed and the quest/online resources are wrong or recipe is broken for this item.​

 

All Alchemy crystal creation recipes appear to be broken. And I mean broken. I used a recipe that I learned sometime before the last server side patch, can't recall if it was before the last client side patch, it did not work. Same message "Seems like this combination isn't working". Not wrong ratio, just isn't working.

 

Just tried to make a Magic Crystal of Infinity - Armor with the recipe learned before the last update. Master lvl 4 Alchemy and an Advanced Alchemy Tool, failed. Is there something wrong with Crystal upgrades?

 

When using the green grade crystals use 2 different crystals rather then the same crystals when crafting. Example: use 1 precision and 1 power, DO NOT use 2 power.

 

I was using 2 different crystals. And again I used a recipe that I learned sometime in the past, it was listed on my Alchemy tool as one of those "learned" recipes. Did not work at that the time of the report.

I will give that a try as soon as is possible. But would you reference the 2nd gemstone used and which version of the Alchemy tool used please.

 

Kolka, I realize that you moved this to the "Resolved" thread but I have to say that it is not resolved. I used the exact ingredients from the recipe you referenced.

1 X Magic Crystal of Enchantment - Agility
1 X Fruit of the Sun
4 X Cloud Mushroom
2 X Melted Silver Shard
1 X Gemstones (1 X Magic Crystal of Crimson Flame - Precision to be exact)

It did not work. I am Alchemy Master 4 and was using an Advanced Alchemy Tool.

I also attempted to create this Magic Crystal of Infinity - Armor using the already known and successful recipe below, i used the select button and did not put in the mats by hand. It failed as well.

This recipe stills appears to be broken, have tried it with several different types in the 'gemstones' category. Followed the linked bdocodex recipe as well.

 

What is your Alchemy lvl? Mine is Master 4. I was able to craft them at one point. And I know that there is a min Alchemy lvl required. Just have some strange feeling that something is messed up and my Alchemy lvl is now too high.
