Magical Accuracy for Ranger??

wht the Point of MA for Ranger??

to have a higher chance to hit slows/traps/silence/cc's.

The purpose of the MA is to fight those sockets Magic Resist. Rangers sitting ducks if they can not land CC. with the latest Magical Accuracy fans Sleep Arrows and darts Silence receives, Magical Accuracy is full will allow u to cut throgh their full Magic Resist set. Magical Accuracy of the target number for this set is 1,900, with food. If by some form of magic u reach this number and actually still have some empty slots in ur teeth, fill entry Crit Strike.

In my opinion, this should be ur standard set for PvP. Obviously, to help with the full Magical Accuracy set, it would be best to socket ur bow with only Magical Accuracy stones, the target amount of this set is600-620 Crit Strike, unbuffed. That means 720-740 with a Major Crit Strike Scroll. Any empty sockets go to Magical Accuracy. The reason for the crit strike target is due to the soft caps placed on the crit strike/% crit chance conversion.


Dont worry about ur Damage,, use full buff to beat enemy !!

 

back in my days, I used 2 sets, one with magic acc for mage class and another one with critical + acc for others.

 

maybe if I hve two sets I would like you..hehehee

 

720 crit strike is nothing. most people have 500+ strike resist, turning your 720 crit strike into 220

 

If you have really low ping and good gear then attack/mr or attack/crit attack/ma are decent at least when fighting mediocre opponents. But generally, magical accuracy is the best for rangers due to the ability to slow and sleep and trap your opponents. Rangers have very low defense and relatively low HP and a gladiator or templar can kill them in just a few hits and a sorcerer can nuke them down in about 1 to 2 seconds so by having magical accuracy you can CC your opponent and take your time with him. Magical accuracy is good against everyone and not only against MR users, because with the latest sets base MR is 1800 or more so a ranger without any magical accuracy would have 1400 MA or so which is too low if you want to land least a sleep arrow on someone. My ranger is running around in 2k MA and damage is not a problem because attack manastone does not increase damage as much as you'd think, it is more effective on autoattack so if you are a sin you might wanna consider it but for rangers just stick to MA, imo.

You can mix your manastones between ma/crit and attack/ma. Try to have MA as your main manastone though.
