Market Area

Hi,

It has come to my attention that some users are requesting to switch back the market section to the old system, bumping threads with a reply, also because the forum will be updated next week and I need to decide this before so I know if I'll need to recode the current system so it's compatible with the forum update or not. This is why I'm creating this poll, I will let the forum users to choose what system we use.

Current system:
- replies do not take the thread to the top
- bump button can be used every X hours
- after X days or X amount of bumps the thread cannot be bumped again

Old system:
- replies take the market threads to the top
- no bump button

Please note that by bringing the old system back we will also need to add the "Bump Rule Violation" infraction, therefor if you do not follow the bump rules you will get an infraction with no prior warning given.

The poll will automatically close next Sunday.

 

Current, So that there will be no spamming xD

 

I vote for the current system. There is no absolutely need for the market threads to be bumped every few minutes. I remember how players would bump their own threads and then their friends would help them in that difficult task.

If someone wants to sell or to buy, then it should be done nicely like people do it now. There is no fuzz with the bumps, there are no warnings/ infractions for spamming the trade threads and every one is chill and cool.

I'll vote for the current market system. It's so annoying if all you can see in the forums top 10 latest post is WTT / WTB / WTS.

 

voted for the old market area.. its more convenient for me than the current one, its not like there are useful threads in this forum anyway. so yeah bring back the old market area

 

As a trader I'd like the old but with active moderation from...moderators?

If you keep the current fine, but please make the 'bump' unlimited per thread (with restrictions of course 12h/1 day or whatever) saves the trouble of having to remake the same thread over and over which clutters my history...which annoys me in equal measure, especially if you have a fairly 'permanent' trading list which you update all the time.

ALSO:

I don't see a bump button on my threads whatsoever.
