Welp i'm bored. This feels like mocking a mentally handicapped person and even i have pity.

 

From what is shown in the Aethertech PvP videos, the class doesn't look that great. No mitigation/shielding skills, no self-heal, and one or two effective strategies. However, it does look like the class has all manner of ranged attacks, and a permanent extendable-ish range (around 6m), which is pretty cool. Of course, it's still too early to tell, but I don't think the class will be as much of a game changer or threat as Gunners or Songweavers.

 

Actually they have like 2 shield-like skills that works in similar manner to Mini UD+Protective Ward. The drawback is it drains mana for damage taken, their MP is their secondary HP in some sense. The armour also gives some defensive stats like block/parry/pdef/fear resist when active. Aethertech do have one major self heal skill, Heals for 100% but at the cost of dismounting the mech which means you lose your offensive capabilities. Overall they do seem less menacing as Gunners considering they're both Technists.

They got 2 ranged skills at either 15 or 20m range. One is a charge up skill and the other is a really weak rocket-attack that increases agro. Also all their other skills got increased to 10m from 6 in a later update. Either you go on defence tree with a few UD-like skills and a "wintry armor" that takes 500mana per hit or you go on offensive which has a couple of high hitting skills and absolotely no defense. Like a magic-based gladiator with no defense and low damage. A lot less gamebreaking than gunslinger/songweaver for sure. Seems to be in the same position on the rock-paper-scissors model too, can't do anything against sins/rangers.

The main combo is to paralyze someone and use a charge up skill that hits around 3k on glad, then again, 90% of the aethertech vids are made by the same guy and he seems pretty bad (lost a fight in the aethertech vs assassin vid with just a bow).
