Bug Name:

Cartian Scroll Bug​

Bug Description:

On the final stage the boss does not spawn instead the mobs endlessly spawn and makes you unable to finish the quest making you lose the scroll and rewards. The only way to fix it is to forfeit the quest and switch channels, but this can happen so frequently you will sometimes have the channel switch cooldown and get stuck until its over.​

How to reproduce/proof:

From what I can tell the bug seems to occur when the second boss is killed too fast which may be why people are saying they are really buggy in a party but this can happen solo aswell if you have high AP and kill fast. When I waited for the boss to spawn in and use a few attacks the bug didn't happen.

Very rarely the bug can happen after the final boss is dead and the quest is complete while you don't lose your reward or scroll but you can't start the next scroll forcing you to switch channels to continue. This seems to also be from killing the boss too fast but is far more rare.​

Bug Description:

Sometimes the 3rd Boss of the "Ancient Relic Crystal Summon Scroll" and the "Cartian Spell" scrolls seems to spawn underground or just not at all.
They keep summoning small monsters to assist them but the boss itself does not appear and u end up unable to finish the quest.
Even after abandoning the quest it still won't stop summoning monsters and the only way to summon a new scroll is switching channels.
Since u can only swap channels every 15 minutes, and this problem sometimes happens quite often, u have massive downtimes during these "scrollruns".
Not to mention that the scroll with the bugged boss is lost and will not be returned after abandoning the quest and swapping channels.

In my opinion this is a very frustrating bug and i couldn't find any reports of this in the "confirmed" or "resolved" sections so i'm posting this here.

P.S: I don't know if Pila Fe scrolls do also bug because i haven't done any of those yet. Maybe someone else can tell me if these bug too.​

How to reproduce/proof:

Just summon a couple of those scrolls and i'm 100% sure that sooner or later u will encounter this bug. Sometimes it works like a charm but especially if u do bigger scroll runs u will surely run into this problem.​

 

Fragment Scroll where always buggy and sometimes the Quest doesn't Update after killing the Boss, but right now it has become a serious Problem. We are losing around 60% of all the Scrolls we are doing. Before this was avoidable by killing the Boss slowly with low AP, but it looks like that this doesn't work anymore. This issue needs to be adressed asap.

 

I lost five scrolls in just a few hours. its horrible. I had to dump all the scrolls I had into the trash, and sell the rest to vendor and I just fed about 350 fragments to a kzarka just trying to get I to 15 and failing.

 

Its so severe I have completely stopped running scrolls. I tried doing pila fe and it says I don't meet the requirements but the same toon sure did the other day when all my scrolls were lost and I destroyed them because I could NOT finish a single one!

Thank you for making this video. To devs ... this can happen with any summoning scroll.

 

One additional question while this subject is up; Why aren't we getting any Combat or Skill Experience when doing scrolls at all?

 

I tested more relic scrolls. If i am alone i do not have problem. If i am in a party it bugs like in the video 50% of time.

 

I had the opposite experience. I had five bugged in a row when alone. The last few times the monster flll below the ground and all I could see was the name. This was during the monks test quest.
