Talk about the games of 2014

 

My screenshots look much poorer than actual ingame quality (and its not on complete high), whereas that screenshot seems nearly rendered.

Also Archeage isn't a 2014 game it's being released to NA, but it's been out for a while elsewhere. ESO, BF4 etc. probably look better than it, but it still looks really nice and my screenshots aren't exactly a good way to judge the graphics of it considering how much detail is lost in each one.

 

I mean sadface that you paid like 100 dollars for this game and it looks like Metin 2 (stole this quote from someone) while other free MMOs have ten times better graphics you know

You haven't even played it or looked into it enough to know what it's graphics are actually like lol, you see my screenshots which have a full cluttered UI and jpg compression quality loss and you compare them to full quality no UI pics (except the last one) which are taken from games which require significantly less performance than most MMOs. I don't have max quality or anti-aliasing, as I said its very bad to judge from my pictures, but yeah sure I wasted 100 because a 2012 game isn't as high quality as ESO, or Black Desert, BF4, Division, etc.
(its better than Planetside, of that I can guarantee)

 

Idk boy I mean if a game is P2W it sucks and if a game is P2W with terrible graphics it sucks even more

and those screenshots don't really appeal to me either, it looks like a revamped version of Lineage2

It is a lot like Lineage 2, which is one of my favorite games. You know what else was a revamped version of Lineage 2? Aion

It isn't p2w, korea shortly tried that and lost their customer base, but Trion is handling the NA release and they've already proven that they know how to take care of f2p models

Must have been very revamped coming out in 2009 cause it looks awesome =o

 

Obviously, if you're seriously comparing ArcheAge to the 2003/4 release of Lineage 2 though then you must be trolling, it's much higher quality than Aion. There's a few beautiful areas in Aion, but the graphics are actually pretty poor nowadays in comparison to just about any major MMO. It was actually bugging me when I first went back to retail and I don't even usually care that much about graphics. Tera might be one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen but I can still acknowledge that the graphic quality is less than most new ones.

Either way, I'm not trying to convince you to play, and you care a lot more about graphics than I ever do judging by how often you try to bring down the graphics of any game I play ;p but I'm having fun and I don't intend to stop, nor do I consider any of my money wasted~

 

Yeah.. it's one of the terrible things I do, the only game that I've ever played that didn't have good graphics and I actually liked it and continued playing it for a long time is Age of Mythology.. sucks!
