my point of view

Hi,

I am a 33 years old guy, with an work, a wife, and i hope soon with a child. (Family)
I have some free time that i wanna spend it playing some nice games. (its my virus)

What i am looking in online games? To have a character, and to have fun fighting against players. This is the only fun i can have because my free time dedicated to online games its not that much. So i can say i don't like pve, killing moobs, making instances etc. Its not my tipe. Why?

Because i work, i can afford to buy my best items from the website, thats why i choused to play private servers and gamezaion was one of the best server for Aion because the pvp system was perfect for me. All the time when i connect in game, i could find the fun i wanted.

I hope that Carl, or who is the one who make real money from this, will understand, that peoples like me bring more money in the pocket. Not peoples that they like pve, to hunt bosses, to drop items for personal use. (I have nothing against them and i respect them cuz they work hard to have some decent items; THEY HAVE TIME).

This players, time to time , can afford to invest some real money for a game. The money they bring are not enought to keep the game online.(maybe i am wrong).

All i want to say is that atm , the game seems to fall down. This is sad for me but its not good for Carl also. I don't think the donation will stay like they were before. I am sure that many like me will stop invest money.

I invested till now, since i have start gamezaion(around 6-7 months) more then 600 euro and i was ready to invest more, helping good friends, testing more characters...etc, but now, i really cant and this is not because i don't want, its because the future don't seems to me a nice one.

I am not complaining here because i have spent money for a game, i am complaining here that you stopped me to spend more money for something who brings me fun witch makes me sad .

I hope somebody will understand my point of view.

I've donated in the past and will not be doing so anymore. It just seems completely pointless now.

 

Totally understandable , and I'm pretty sure dozens of others who were willing to pay and who actually did pay for the game are in the same boots as you are .

Noone can promise you anything at this point , you can just keep hoping & prevent you from bigger losses by giving a break to donations .
When you feel comfortable enough on the server & you can see the light at the end of the tunnel , you can just make everything get back to the flow they used to be .

 

I was about to pay $1000 but because of the updates. No money for you Carl T_T.

I was one of the first people who had full ABG set on this server. Ive donated nough in the past but stoped due to the lack of good quality pvp starting from the middle of v1.9.

Dun worry tho, there will be always new waves of newcommers who will donate $$ in order to get their gears.

Wow, I guess I've been a bit too serious on the forums until now. People seem to trust me on every stupid thing I say... I like it. Now, I'm against donations of any kind to any game. (Why would you donate for something you can get for free).

Ah well, you should be at least happy that you stopped spending money on something... useless.

 

I could have too but chose to force myself to vote for the majority of my gear before finally giving in to my impatience and donating. Max I've donated is 200-250$ maybe. I just don't see spending 1000$ on any game myself but I'm not him.

There are some people who have donated a lot more so I wasnt sure if he was serious or not.

i feel sad too for My friend. He donated alot. Buy beshmundir chain set for 10k creds, SW plate set too. But all of that obtainable in game now. Its just feel unfair and i think carl should change it with something else.

 

Considering he's appearing mainly in Serious Discussions , yeah you're right .
