Digging into my junk items. I found my old working laptop which is already been un-used for several years since I'm already using a new one. So I tried to turn it on. Everything went well. All keys are working smoothly. But when i tried to uninstall some programs like Codeblocks , Mozilla Firefox and , old stuff games. Whenever I switch my laptop on again. It's back. It's like, I can completely remove a program. But whenever I turn my laptop on again the program is back. What should I do?
    I BADLY NEED YOUR HELP.
    :(:(:(

Reformat. just copy the important files in the old laptop and reformat if you have a os.

I really don't know if I really do have to reformat it. I also tried to connect in my own WiFi. But when I do it after I turn my Lappy on again. It doesn't even remember my WiFi as a home network. Get's pretty weird. It's like a PC on a computer shop that everything get's wiped out after shutting down the pc.

You're better off just reformating it that's the best suggestion viewing your situation. I can't think of another alternative actually.

Falty os not talking with the hard drive correctly and the computer keeps running off a back up rather than saving its configurations.

When stuff like this happens to me, I usually just reinstall the operating system. Usually happens on old computers. Especially ones that are not used often.

If you want to do that but you don't have a disc, i can give you details on how to do it without disc. If you have a hp, you might be able to do a system recovery. Which is basically the same thing as using a disc to reinstall windows.

hmmmm. Yes I don't have a disk. And my old lappy doesn't have a disk slot either. But i believe, I might be able to install the software via USB.

First make sure you can, then do your stuff. You don't want a laptop sitting around with no OS on it.

Try to go into safe mode by tapping F8 when your computer boots up. Remove the programs there. This will prevent any other background programs from interfering since safe mode is a disabled state. Then restart your computer. If the same problem still happens try this:

Since you have no disk to reformat, I would suggest doing system restore to the earliest restore point possible (start>type in system restore in search)
or if you can't type system restore in search (since your computer is old) go to start>right click my computer>system protection>and then click system restore.
This feature will restore your computer to the point of where it won't do that (hopefully). Choose your restore point wisely though. Turn off all your firewalls and antivirus so this tool can transfer the files properly and restore the registry. After you've done that, use a program like Malware Anti-bytes to remove hidden malware off your computer. Don't forget to use a program like Ccleaner to clean out your registry also. I also use Revo Uninstaller (they delete extra files of programs you wish to uninstall) You can google these programs. They are free.

This lappy runs with windows XP. ( too old but ) Since it's too handy with 7 inches screen only. It's easy to carry. And very useful for school matters.

As mentioned. Im talking about a really old laptop in here. Since my main concern for it was just for file transfers and powerpoints etc, im looking for a way to fix it as much as possible. I'll try to search this softwares you mentioned. You think it'll work? I'ma try it later as soon as I reach home. Talking about memory it only has 512mb RAM , 2 GB on Local Disk C and 4 GB on Local Disk D. LOL

    EDIT: Thanks in advance XD

Just to let you know. Be sure to make sure you have some basic drivers on your usb because sometimes when you reinstall your os; you lose all supported drivers for your computer; which makes it impossible to connect to the Internet and use your graphics card or other stuff. I suggest downloading "driver pack solution" from a torrent site. It will have a big database of drivers for almost all supported hardware.
