I need a new television show to watch. So to try and find one, I decided to post what I think is the best stuff made on television so we can share ideas =)

First off, my fav show of all time, Lost

    Action trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jiO_njQdRk
    Philosophical look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAFuyHN3Ty4
    Cool Vid:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_7CRpHEwa8&feature=related
    Thematic Vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u31PeUi7Xig

yeah, im kinda obsessed :). But to me, and I guess to a lot of other people, nothing will ever top that show. I don't expect people to find a show similar to that due to its uniqueness, but I just ask that it deals with intelligent issues like the above.

    The Wire
    Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srIYAbjqT-g

I love this show simply because it demonstrates a lot of ambiguity. Parallels are drawn between people on BOTH sides of the laws. The difference between cop and robber is blurred in this moving and character driven show. Another central theme is the distinctions drawn between business, politics, and organized crime are at best artificial and in reality irrelevant Another kind of idea of the intelligence I am looking for.

    Breaking Bad
    Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--z4YzxlT8o

A great show that deals with ambiguity. Its been generally considered the best show on television now, but I still like Lost better. The Wire and this are tied for me for second place.

I'm tired of writing, so thats my suggestions to you, and also a way for you guys to build off those shows and give me new ones that may fit into this list.

    thanks

I'm slightly curious how many times they're gonna let you avoid a ban o.o

No, but they went through the trouble of banning your other account, yet let you post on a new one.
    Pointless banning is pointless.

I'm not the one that's been allowed to avoid a ban 3+ times.

I liked house. But after I while it became really formulaic for me. Like extremely formulaic. Plus, I'm not a medical type person, so meh.

Dr. Who was recommended to me earlier, I might look into it.

While you're at it, look into not avoiding a ban.

I suppose anything would become formulaic after watching Lost.

I tip my hat that you managed to endure the entire thing ._.

It's because you remind them of mudkipz, and everyone loves mudkipz.

lmao. I liked the beginning a lot, and loved the ending a lot also. I guess the middle part, which you are probably referring to as the "craziness" part is which was meh for me. But house literally is

Two people, one person has issue
    Tests
a bit of random soap opera drama
    diagnosis 1
    fail
    diagnosis 2
    fail
    revelation doing something unrelated
    cure
    random ending

I swear, every episode I watched followed that formula
