    1 Word: Piracy.

oh don't give me those looks, peeps! we all do it, and at least I'm proud of it!

now that that's out of the way:

    -Antivirus: ESET
PM me for instructions on it if interested.

-You can install with a random Win7 ISO, just gotta make sure they're the same versions as the ones your father has with him (32/64 bit architecture, Premium/Basic/Ultimate, Volume Licensing/Retail). Or you can just go full pirate and PM me with instructions if interested...

-All drivers for all teh thingz can be found online, on their respective websites. If they aren't there, you bought a bad product or something lol...in case of laptops, all the drivers can be found in the laptop manufacturer's site. Not a laptop? gotta look for your hardware model and brand and look up drivers yourself.

if your desktop is branded (hp, lenovo, dell etc..) then those cd/dvd os dvd is required to restore your operating system to its factory default. about the activation code it is designed only or it will be used to that specific os dvd you're referring to, one is to one, one product key one operating system, meaning you can't use it on other version of operating system whether it's win7 or win8. about the drivers, yes you can find the drivers online, just look for the manufacturers label of your mainboard (only if it is not branded), but if your desktop is branded just look for the model and go to website of that brand. installing operating system is easy as 123 just follow the on screen display.

ok, so i already had eset on my pc, gotta ask dad for the license key i guess. as for the windows 7 license key i had already on my pc i guess lol

so for the drivers, if i got it right, ill have to check which hardware i have in my "system tab" (dont know how its called in english lmao) and check on the web for it. eg i have a nvidia geforce 8800, so i go to nvidia site and i download da sh*t out of it, right? seems quite easy rofl

one more question. i had 2 hdd 500gb, but it was a raid (pls pardon me, but im not too much into computer so i dont know how to say it correctly) with a sata connection. if i buy a 1tb hdd sata, can i connect it with the same cable? i mean, if i simply replace those 2 hdd with the new one assuming they have the same connections, will it be fine?

Bad advice - avoid ESET's antivirus software since for some reason it causes Aion to lag uncontrollably for some people.

Think yes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

sort of depends on your system

Some anti-viruses cause no lag for some but for others it does cause lag for them

'some' as Razor stated but not all so you won't know until you try...

Avast personally lags for me yet there are reviews from people saying it causes no lag so as I said before depends on your computer,

Just download it and try it no big deal you can always unistall it and try a different antivirus if not happy until you find the 1 that suits your computer

At the moment I'm using Advanced System Care 7 Link - http://www.iobit.com/advancedsystemcareper.html

It's a anti virus + It also repairs, cleans and optimizes your computer and updates/installs out-dated/missing drivers and much more.

I got no lag so far, and it's a very quiet program no pop up's and it isn't recognizing Aion as a 'threat'.

It's free with very good rating there is also ultimate/pro version for all features but free has most anyway.

for Antivirus...no one is the best. the best thing is pick one antivirus and ALWAYS update the VIRUS definition.

I use ESET on both my computers and it causes no lag. Guille also started using it and so far so good. Those who got problems from it use advanced memory scanning options which slows down pretty much everything in the computer. Gaming becomes a pain in the ass with that option turned on, but unless you're 100% paranoid about your stuff, it's not a needed option. with the firewall configured nicely and the antivirus scanning your downloads, you're set to go.

IF you don't want to use eset, there's a lot of antiviruses that are as good as eset, if not better (at the moment at least). Here's a graph detailing the best antiviruses according to the latest Virus Bulletin tests on windows 7/8:

G-Data, Fortinet, and Bit Defender are at the top of their game on the last tests done by Virus Bulletin. Regardless, I'm sort of an ESET fanboy so I'm quite loyal, have used it since 2008 with no issues so far (the firewall does NOT detect aion since aion's executable is a .bin file. All you gotta do is simply allow access to bin32/bin64 aion.bin's in the firewall and you're done. Interactive Policy Profile for the firewall is the choice to go since it runs everything through you before allowing anything and you can customize rules easily).

The main reason I stick to ESET is because it has won the most awards in the Virus Bulletin, of all antiviruses ever tested.
