New player seeking guidence!

Hi all recently joind this server with a group of internet chums about 10 of us, we all game pretty well were all level 55 and as far as i can tell we now have fairly decent gear. 1 player (cash man) has full abg set/acces with wepon upgraded also. now we all pvp with each other from asking ingame about items ive been told he has the best set available?

Now for the nono. When i pvp him its a close fight im gladi and he is ranger now as far as i can see he has best gear or im missing something major? anyway i am fighting against an asmodian ranger 1v1 and he 4 hits me.. So plz can any1 fill me in on what im missing?

Also in before flame, Similar situation but a sorc hits me for 11.8k = instant death i have level 50 abyss gear plus 15 all parts with abg helm and abyss level 30 access. so i do have pvp defence etc not much magic resist... but a 1 shot skill even if this is dp im failing to see why these are still in the game as surely any serious pvp game can not have skills like this?


I appologise in advance if im missing something blatent as to why were so rubbish.

 

Sorcs will do that to you. Their DP skill can get pretty gnarly. Theres a thread with a picture of someone doing 33k x.x You can only use it once an hour though.

The manastones that you choose to put into your gear are also a big factor in how strong you're going to be.

you can only use it once an hour so that means you can 1 shot a player 24 times in a day lol i dont know if this is a troll or not? suely the "omfgz im op" kids will love this but any serious pvp player would not want skills like this in the game. Not just saying sorc if any other classes have them its a complete no skill cant play this game serious skill for that to happen, Also do you guys know of anything more we can do to make ourselves more pvp viable? we all have cash shop wepons and a few bits of armour but still we dont seem to do as much dmg as other people do to us. We have yet to experiment with foods/scrools but only as we dont know were to get them yet lol

but even that skill wont kill if you have high MR.
