New to BDO

Based on some quick research ive narrowed down what i want to play to DK or Witch, everything seems to point towards rolling witch from a practical point, but I really like the look/feel of DK. Am I going to be gimping myself a lot by choosing DK on this server?

Im going to be jumping in totally blind, is there anything specifically on this server I should know before doing so in terms of efficient/fun leveling. Or is there a decent guide out there?

I'll be playing NA as well if any guilds are looking for new players, have discord and a mic etc... not totally new to MMO's just BDO.

 

It seems from my experience so far getting the game to launch will be your biggest issue, not so much class selection.

 

Seems to work fine for me, at least running around a bit.

 

Than you are golden, everything I've seen online is that the class balance is in a pretty good spot and while some classes are easier to learn, when played well they are fairly equal!

 

Leveling is easy. If you have gear you can go straight to car fish and level to 51. Then go to media and level to 56 do awakening. Maybe party up to SD grind and in no time you will be 60. Don’t forget daily buff for experience. When at 60 get the quest from the otters in media and that will put you close to 62. Then do the kamasylvia quest line and finish the valtarre quest to get to 64. You would need some help for this.

Dk and witch are both good especially when you reach high ap. Both will still be dumbstered by mystic or striker. Witch better for large scale pvp. Dk is kinda in the middle of everything. Not the best at anything and not the worst.

 

guys may ask how to down load the game i download the game luncher but not working

 

It was a bit confusing for me as well kevinken, you just set the game path to where you want it (even if you dont have the game) and the launcher will download all the data to that location. It's about 30 gigs and I read the launcher doesn't have the ability to pause so you want to make sure that you have time to download it all at once.

 

then that's crazy slow if from the launcher is there any other way to download the game

 

Yea, Just download retail version(from official Server) ten put the gamezbd launcher there and play.
