New To Game

So as u can see , im new to this game , this is my first time playing or trying to play on private server , so , i did as the basics , downloaded ncsoft launcher , downloaded game (i think i downloaded the assault on balaurea client , dunno since i am new) , instaled gamez launcher , and started the game , and bang , i see a NCSoft Picture , and the game is blocked(not responding) , dunno what to do ,tried different downloads from this forum but didnt work , after that i tried updating from ncsoft but , it updated the client to 2.0.0.5 so , now i have 2 problems , how to reverse the update , and how to get the game to work . Also my config is : 2Gigs ram , Nvidia Gforce 9500GS , 640Gigs hdd , 3ghz Single Core Processor and running on Win XP . So could some1 help this newbie here pl0x :innocent: !?

 

2.0.0.5 works with the server and it sounds like you need to update your directx

 

use ncsoft for instal game ...after u have patch 2.0, install gamez aion patch.....and run the game with gamez aion launcher....that's all...and about your sistem, i think is enough to play aion.... I hope I helped

 

uhm , which gamez aion patch??? can u link it ??? i think i missed that part...i havent seen any gamez patch......and anytime i start the gamez launcher it says at Server : Offline ; i tried with directx 9c , now installed directx 10 for Xp , but still , the games blocks at the NCsoft Photo

 

Help anyone pls , i wanna try the game here on this cool community , if anything comes to mind on how to solve post here pls

Thats fine, ok well the next step is to ensure you install the latest Gamez launcher (found in my sig) into your main 'Aion/AionEU' folder.

Oh, i hope your settings are set to North America in your NcSoft Launcher correct?

 

This is the system.ovr file that is needed to free-fly.

This is the item.pak file that is needed to trade certain equipments and items.

I didnt have enough patience , after i started the game , its stopped at teh NCSoft logo photo , and after i recived that error ....

Though i dont think its a item.pak error or others coz i got em already , coz i tried alot of things before posting , thx anyway , still nothing , same thing

Might be coz i got the Assault on Balaurea Client??? coz i think i have that client.

 

That client is the right one.

You have tried using the latest item.pak for 2.0?

If so then this may be your issue, 'Repair' your client while running as Admin and do not install the new item.pak, if you are able to get online then that is your problem.

 

run the game as u will play it retail when u get to the point u need to enter ID and password just quiet... u wondering y coz Ncsoft launcher fix the direct X problems if there is any and 2.005 is supported by this server ^_^

 

just repaired ( this is the 2nd time) , still didnt work
@Kisra , the game just blocks and is not responding after i start it and when i see the NcSoft logo , from where-ever i start it its all the same , so it doesnt matter where i start it from , i tried from the NCSoft too

 

man idk about that issue in aion but on my old pc i had that issue with "gta sa" and that was cauz my system didn't support the game cauz didn't respect the minimum configuration!!

 

I had this problem, i dont use the gamez aion launcher im using a .bat file that manually goes past the updater and just starts the game. Im not at home so i cant upload it to fileshare or megaupload but yeah i use a manual starter not the updater that might be your problem.

ur were right i think , repaired again , the 3rd time , and just installed the games launcher nothing else and it works

 

i got another question guys , about the vote system , after i vote i should get 100Credits and 5000k kinah right??? coz it says u get 1000.000 kinah per vote , is it real?? , and if it is , how do u recieve em>??? and why didnt i recieve em ?? btw , i was online on my char when voting for the same char

 

Enter your Character name and the click Vote button
You will receive 1000,000 Kinah and 20 Credits for each Vote every 12 hours
Remember your Character must be offline for at least 1 min to receive Kinah

As stated on the site,you have to be offline for at least a minute before you vote

 

The voting reward just lowered from 1mil kinah to 500k and from 20 credits to 10 , What happend?? Also , u guys on which server/realm do u play?? Siel or Luminel? im playing on Luminel , and maybe u guys can give me some starting tips , i have 3 chars 23 sorccerer , 24assasin and 29gladiator , any tips to fast lvling

 

This is what I do.

Go to Eltnen -> Do the Dissapearing Aether quest, kill some of the monsters at the broken aether for a few levels. -> Go to Theobomos -> Try to fight on Virago Fighters till maybe around level 38 -> Go to Heiron -> Do Eternal Rest quest after that Archon of storms, then go back to Theobomos -> Fly to the observatory kill a few monsters there till level 45 -> then do the quests there till around level 48. -> then you go to Jamanok INN walk inside the building, walk the stairs up, first room to the left, accept the quest from both NPCs there, and keep doing the repeatable till level 55.
