    Your first port of call, after choosing a race of course, would be to choose which server you want to play on.

    Siel - Higher population, all stigma skills unlocked. (Stigma's being the skill paths you specalize down, on Siel you just get them all)
    Lumiel - Lower population, full stigma system. (You pick and choose how to spec your character's skills a bit)

    Your playstyle will determine which server you want to go on. Lumiel's a bit more balanced if you're into that sort of thing and Siel has more people if that's your cup of tea.

    Once you've done that you just need to find some people to play with ;)

    Nope.

    Characters on Siel and Lumiel aren't shared since the servers are completely different in nature ^^

    Jesus Bryne, those avatars ._.

    Retail is currently 2.6.0 while Gamez is at 2.5.0.x so until we update our servers to it you'll probably end up with the wrong client version. If it does indeed download 2.6.0 you can downgrade pretty easily though using this thread.
