No Server and then got d/c

OS: windows xp 64 bit
Try to run client but getting directx error, I did install the 9.c in my com and restart but still get the problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

You might wanna consider fully re-installing Aion. I don't see any reason for your game not to run.

Before you do that you COULD try repairing the game first.

I have a few questions.
1) When you open NCSoft laucher is Aion under Installed?
2) When you click on Aion > Properties in NCSoft launcher does it show the Install Location to where you installed it?
3) When you click on Files > Settings > Advanced in the NCSoft Launcher is your Region set to North America?

 

i did the repair and reupdate the client but still not working, i either got the error of directx 2008 or newer error if I use the 32bit aion.bin or the no server authen error if i use the 64 bit aion.bin

 

64bit will never work with private servers, you would need a 64bit version of the d3d8thk.dll which private servers use to allow authentication. There is none available.

As for the error, try run retail through the ncsoft launcher, sometimes that alone is enough to fix it.

My Windows 7 is 64 bit and I run Aion just fine
