    Not a very easy one to answer to be honest. Both work. if you were asking about Sorc I'd tell you tome 100% but for SM's, when you consider they can stack solely Macc, I'd maybe go orb. Try both and see which you prefer.

    There is alot of discussion about that,go for tome i say,that little extra MA would help you more than little MB would.

    No it won't. It'll have more Macc, that's all. If you exclude Macc, orbs have better stats.


    In saying that, you gain 100 Macc from using ABG tome over orb but lose 100 MB. It's much easier to get that extra MB back than it is to get that extra MA, owing to manastones being +27 for Mb and +14 for MA.

    Yamm. Attack Speed is vital for SM's. Much more so than for sorc's. Stacking two cast speed's when tomes are so easy to get is kind of a waste.

    I prefer 5% additional hit chance against sorcs and clerics over 19% attack speed.
    But that is everyone's personal preference, so yeah, Yamm. Tome is an acceptable option.

    u should have both. MA tome too get highest chance to land ur debuff. MB orb to hit harder. and believe me. with an Orb, a SM can kill u in 10 sec.
    even my PVE SM (none % pvp atk) who is using an Orb can kill ABG users real quick (unless they stack all MR)

    That's why I prefer the ABG + Taha tome over an attack speed tome, if I use my tome I need as much MAcc as I can get.
    Tahabata tome gives the greatest MAcc bonus out of all tomes.
    On my orb I just use Magic Boost, e.g. against gladiators and rangers who don't stack MR.
