ordering a gaming desktop from intel

what do i need to look for to ensure the desktop will have a good fps in aion exactly what and if i do get it what are the best gaming mouses for aion please enlighten me sorry for my grammar but i was beer ponging two hours ago.

 

Well, try buying a mouse with extra buttons. I have Razer Deathadder

 

Naga ftw? But honestly, there's no better thing than a Naga, unless you're a touchpad fan <3

 

Razer Naga Epic= Problem solve.

 

Logitech > naga.
Amd > intel.
Ati > nvidia.

aion doesnt have crazy high requirements so pretty sure ull be able to play it fine on nearly any new pc

as for gaming mice, i go against the whole "more buttons = better", the vast majority never use more than the 2 main + mouse wheel anyway, its more like a showoff mouse. i just care bout how comfortable it feels to use, u should already have a style u prefer

@Anonymous i prefer intel and geforce but meh, either of them is fine for games like this. there isnt a clear distinction which is better, each has a ton of models and some r better than others. overall they both have models that do the job just fine

 

I use my two main clicking buttons and the thumb buttons, i would actually like more buttons on my mouse but not too many.

 

guna need high specs of course if your working with a good budget
i5 - i7 processor
8gb ram is nice i personally have 10 partly because of windows 7
400 gtx nvidia graphics cards are nice
naga mouse is nice(although i have a standard mouse sadly)
make sure you have good power supply and the memory is important too
don't wanna go running out slows things down
prob more shit but its 4am kinda sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy

i spec'd my computer during aion retail where
you know much more ppl and such much higher ping
i play a lot of games not jsut aion but its good to set your sights higher
things are alwayas updating don't wanna move to something with higher standards
and find out your computer now blows XD
i have 4 processors but you dont really need that many XD
1 and two work fine as well despite what ppl think

 

the one they talk bout is more like a phone, its just a matter of preference. for me the keyboard has enough keys for binds and i work faster with a mouse anyway, same as people having all those "helpful" keys all around a desktop keyboard be4 u find it, ill do the task faster with a mouse anyway

he said he wants to play aion, not a freaking benchmark game

You should get the i5 2500k, since the only difference is hyperthreading, and as far as i know, no game uses that yet. the i7 is more for heavy video editing and such.

btw you should build it your self, its alot cheaper.

Get a 2500k Intel Processor. Intel owns the CPU market for a reason.

1TB HD should be enough for all of your pr0n.

8GB RAM is more than enough for anything.

If you have the option to save money by not getting windows 7, don't get it. Pirate it instead.

If you get the Razer Naga Epic, you'll be changing your build. I suggest ASDF for movement, mouse for everything else. Airbend does this, and that's why he's unique.

If you can, get two of an NVidia card. 2x 460(or 550Ti) GTX both OC'd isn't as good as a top-notch card (500$+) atm, but it'll be up there, at least for Aion.

 

a single gtx 560 ti is plenty for aion.. im running everything maxed out 1920x1080 at 50-60 frames.
