[Petition] Abyss PvP -- We Want It Back!

First, let's start this off with why we want Abyss PvP back.

1) It will lessen zergs as players have more areas to PvP.

2) It offers another kind of PvP (aerial.)

3) Having instant-death shields serves no point whatsoever.

The main reason that the shields were implemented is for the bases to be protected. The bases needed to be protected to stop people from getting killed. When has Gamez cared about whether or not someone dies?

This implementation was utterly and undeniably useless. All it did was piss a few players off and force them to join the zergs in Zergisson/Zergmaros.

TL;DR: Take the ****ing shields out. They serve no purpose.

I couldn't Agree more, voted yes.

 

Why would anyone want those shields there other than for the fact that they enjoy wetting their willy in a vat of acid when attempting to flight-pvp.

+100. Some of the best PVP back in the "olden days" of this server was attacking the other races abyss landing. Primium and Terminon were amusing to say the least.

and u think they will implement this? "we want an [full retail] server, if we remove the barrier blah blah, blah blah" and they will close this with a big No from Alente or some1 else from the staff.

That's what you think. But this is something that can easily gain mass support from the community and it's easy enough to fix.

im infavor i want yesterdays happy and unboredable pvp besides reshanta is the assets of aion since they introduce aireal battle! but you know why abyss pvp adds something to the imbalances of classes and because its super obvious that sorcerers and rangers population now is reaching the top. older gladiator/ melee classes start changing to range class because pvp now adays is far more different than before when gladiator is the famous class.

 

voted yes. They should remove the shield. But gues the amount of people complainign they got spawnraped outgrew the amount of people wanting it back. Stilla very good idea tho

 

I remember when i made a suggestion and this was in too.. many people supported it.. but the staff just ignored it! i stopped playing and they still did nothing lol

 

Many people made suggestions about that and other stuff. SO far nothing of those suggestions were introduced because its not "Retail" like.

 

I tottaly agree with this, one more pvp map means more playes, more fun, more time spend on the server and it is win-win for everybody!
That fortress shield is very unnecessary, it works for retail that has more then 5000 players on a server!
Siege war was very Entertainment, i think we need this back!!

Thats the whole point right. We all know it but we dont have control over it. And the people who don't know it have control over it

 

Also voted yes, hope they remove it, even though the main reason of the shields is to prevent people from escaping when they remove their wings - free fall - get back, but meeh~~, it's better without it, inggisson is too zergy atm.

 

i agree with this... whats the use of the wings we have in the game if you DONT get the shields..

abyss is the PVP area of AION if i am not mistaken.. but why it is a ghost area in GAMEZ now???
