Ping help guys?

well my laptop can handle the game but my net at home is just bad at most times I can play with better ping at a friend's pc shop with 230ms but only at the WEEKENDS cuz of my work... geez im playing mostly with this 500ms ping at home and check below at the chatbox haha its 1475ms this morning.... I wanna ask ….cuz I have used other ping reducers....is there one which is really working? but for free? or ping reducers don't really help?

also tried to lower the graphics to the lowest...and I still get the same ping...

 

Hello, seems you got low net connection and unstable connection at home, Lowering graphic settings doesn't changed your ping and ping reducer doesnt help much because it's depend to your location from the server location. You can try these two, if still doesn't changed your ping, upgrade your internet connection at least you can get stable connection ^^. https://www.battleping.com/ https://www.wtfast.com/

 

thanks primez I tried them both I used wtfast since errr 4.0 I think and as well as battleping at the 5.0 update onwards....yeah they don't do much help...well last night I went ffa and it was fine...you're right its just really the unstable net connection at home even if I got 20mbps already...still nothing beats a monster net connection at a pc shop lol go pinas! ​

 

Check your wifi if how many device connected to your wifi because it's also the reason why your ping unstable and kick some ^^

 

Battleping or any 3rd party software doesn't reduce ping, it will only stabilize your ping.

 

i have 10mbps at home and its a DSL but stable at 250-270,,,

 

Because you’re the only one or few people only uses your internet.
