Players profil search

I think its will be nice with this search like in retail.
You can search a player profil for set and stat. So you can see example if a cleric have enough MR to resist your atk or a sorc have enough Macc without SoF to hit you

 

I hated that system with a passion on retail.

I'd still loathe it here.

I don't even understand why such a system would be desireable. Afterall here most everyone has at least EAT gear, if not masta/veille.

That, and, as a fact, if you AREN'T equiped to handle a sitaution... or swap sets to adapt... you'll be bowled over before you could even dream of such an app.

In my opinion, manastone builds, stigma setups, etc... are for that player and that player alone to decide. I personally detest the thought of someone seeing my manastone build and being like


"LMFAO NOOB ONLY 2.2K MR!?!?! LOL NOOB!"

Especially considering I have more than valid reasons for it. (Use pet buff to bounce it to 2.5K MR, use MR tome to bump it to 2.6K MR)


In the end I'd rather see other functions implemented than this, and I'd rather not see it at all, but it wouldn't be gamebreaking for me if it did happen.

We would merely have an influx of people who feel clever because they 'know it all' about X player.

 

woul be a good way to spot bug abusers. but such an intense system would never work on a private server.
but i do wish all manastone to be wiped and a npc would be put for some days so the ppl with 6k mr and such is no more.
but yeah also agree with what aegis said. there is a reason they have a option in game to hide player info.

On the notes of those individuals who may have those stats.... I could see that being a reason to implement it. I agree, but I figure a database like that would be more useful to the staff here.

Although, in the end, that data is DEFINATELY already there to access, it would merely be more formatting to an easier-on-the-eyes version.

 

I angree on that only-staff-member. Since its may make work easier for AM to track down those 6K MR

I would agree with you totaly on this because I really dont want ppl to know my manastone build either. However.. the AMs only having this would be a problem. In case you havent noticed on this private server the burden of proof has always been on the person not the staff. I.E. I dont think you would ever see an AM looking at it because they would" get to bored of false accuzations." So If the player could see these stats.. fight a player that doesnt seem legit, go look at the data.. screen shot it and post it.. Im thinking you wouls see alot more bann hammers. Just my 2 cents

 

I only use 1930 magic resist myself and it's fine lol.. it blocks everything i want it to block.

I agree with the other functions being implemented. I'd rather have bugs worked out than to have something like this. If it would come up, no biggy. But that would be a lot of time taken away from other things that could be fixed instead
