Population and pvp state of the game question

Hello everyone I started playing on this private server 4 days ago on seasonal channel on eu server and so far I like it more than the retail , but I noticed that there's almost no one attenting world bosses and most of the low level grind spots are empty. Is it like this on normal channels too or is it different? Also are people pvping on normal channels or just afk? Thank you on advance for your answers.

 

Everyone is using macro at marie cave afk. Its pretty sad.

 

Pila Ku is sometimes growded (best money spot because of Afuaro and claw) ... Hysteria is almost empty, some are at Aakman and Star End ... i never met someone in Thornwood (shitty place though: gave it up). The most people i see are fishing in Velia: the events destroyed rare drops, so grinding is bad right now ( i made more silver in normal bdo in Hysteria or Aakman). If you want good money on season server, go to Pila Ku. I made there billions and have after 3 weeks 278 AP and 360 DP. I couldnt stand Pila Ku anymore and graduated: silver now is awful though. If you dont get bored, stay on season server and buy all items.

 

Thank you both for the replies, what about population for pve world bosses and pvp on normal servers? I really don't want to spend time grinding gear and have no one pvp with in the end.

 

You get often Nouver or Kutum from Afuaro in Pila Ku or just buy them for 17 million ... i had to kill Nouver and the giant boss near Calpheon for advanture logs alone: was hard, but possible. 2 times, 2 or 3 people joined me to kill Nouver. There are not many doing world bosses sadly ... i gave up trying to kill Garmoth or Offin alone. Never grinded other world bosses: perhaps there are more, but i dont think, there are more.
PvP like Red Battlefield is almost dead ... the same goes for Altar of Blood. I found a guild, but there are almost all afk ... if you get good gear like me, we can grind togheter in Island Padix or Turo and do other stuff, if you want. Just click on community in game and look for a group: i look often, so i can do group spots.

Stars end is basically the new gahaz bandits, mid tier spot

 

2 Tungrad rings are 1 earing from Stars End: i get about 1 earing per hour, would i get that much more Tungrad rings there? ANd you need a ship (have only fishing boat) and items to get there. You are right, i never have been in Sycraia ... and Island Padix i wasnt, too. But i need claws to get a pen blackstar weapon and island Padix is the only spot for claws for end gear people ... and the blue earing drops perhaps often and can be hood money or do you disagree?

 

There are people at the world bosses, especially on karanda, garmoth, kzarka, nouver and kutum, but you dont see them because they are hidden by a server.
Its just a feature of this server, you dont see anyone server hides them from you in order to save you performance issues.

 

No you don't need a boat. Horses can travel underwater on Gamez.

 

Pvp is more or less limited to weekend rbf, saturday seige and the occasional gvg/fight for grind spot.
It used to be alot better and may still recover if guilds like Sneeky stop recruiting the most geared+active players and crash other guilds gvg's or arranged node/seige wars.
