Premium account is it working?

I've done quite a few instance runs where im lead and I don't see that much of a difference the only difference I do notice is quest reward increase and also exp increase from mobs but as for drops...It doesn't even feel like its really changed so is my premium broken or is my luck just that shitty....I know this will probably be nailed by a lot of smartass comments but oh well...for those of you who put forth a good response I commend you lol
