what is harassment in game ?

It is harassment when a pvp guild unilaterally attacks a pve guild for no reason or deliberately pursues people who do not have a guild
I think this is why there is a time of 10 minutes to change the channel
Is it harassment to kill and chase enemies by crossing channels between guilds that are at war with each other?
this isn't that an act to prevent pvp ?
some specific guild that is at war use this as a threat even at war Should field pvp be used like a siege?

Official Pearl Abyss homepage statement regarding what kind of game BDO is; MMORPG. NOT a PvP-arena game. It has PvP elements in it, but it is NOT a PvP-game, just get over the dumbarsed mainstream followers' ideology, and think for yourselves. Mainstream followers are horrifically wrong most of the time.

Yeah this is actually exactly what harassment is. Relentlessly pursuing players only to disrupt their online game-time, is indeed considered harassment.

 

As mentioned above, it is harassment when a pvp guild unilaterally attacks a pve guild for no reason or deliberately pursues someone who does not have a guild. But why is this a problem between guilds fighting each other?
The important thing here is, isn't it natural for warring guilds to move channels and fight?
If the pvp guild can't fight while passing through the channel, do you have to fight by setting a date like a duel?
It's like saying don't play pvp

 

I do agree with you, that in Guild wars there aren't that many rules. However;

To declare war on another guild you will need 1,000,000 silver in the guild bank. You can declare war on up to 4 different guilds at the same time. If the guild doesn’t declare back, it will cost the declaring guild 300,000 silver every 2 hours of the war. Guild war information can be seen in the guild window by pressing “G”. Any guild can declare war at any time regardless of their member’s levels or guild points.

There are certain rules for declaring wars on other guilds:

As you can see here, it is actually possible for one guild to target another, despite them not accepting the declaration of war. It might cost the guild some Silver, but it is quite possible to do so. Which leads to the terribly idiotic abuse, that is indeed harassment. When you are targeting someone, or a guild for that matter, and you go out of your way, to hunt them down and kill them over and over again; That is harassment.

If your guild is in active war with another guild, and you accidentally come across someone from that guild, then sure you are able to attack freely. But once you start following people, then you've crossed the line, at least in my opinion. The staff of GamezBD (of which I am not a part) has to evaluate each case on its own, making the rules flexible, but also if you do harass someone, there is a big chance that your account will be banned. So just don't.

 

Don't you have the right to choose between pve and pvp? You can choose either one. If you mediate fights between guilds, pvp is close to impossible,
Think about what pvp guild means It's safe to say that they exist to fight
One-sided bullying cannot exist in war. Because the choice is only the player. If you don't like fighting, you can choose pve
War is not a sacred duel

 

declaring war to other guild is basically a function which had been exist since early BDO, it just a game system.

if lets say, a pve/lifeskill guild being a problem to pvp guild then that pvp guild declares war to them, i wont call this a bully. They just use in-game system.
However, if without a reason, a pvp guild declares war to pve/lifeskill guild just for a kill fest or troll, i will call this a bully.

The biggest PVP problem in gamez isnt about guild war, but certain players have a habit to make false report to another player using cheat/hacks whenever they lose the fight

I found this example on youtube about this matter which clearly explains the toxic behaviour of gamezbdo pvpers. Watch until the end and read the chatbox on screen.


Check the chatbox on screen, it shows clearly that musa player with name Luthor_Hunt cursing the valkyrie because he lose the fight so many times
And he went further making an ultimatum to report the valkyrie to kolka because of cheating.

The issue here isnt about cheating but he just a noob PVP player who doesnt want to lose

 

PA did changed to one sided declares. Now if you don't accept the guild war dec, war does not occurs. But arsha rules are still same. So don't expect to ppl will be chill about it when you are grinding on hadum spot. We won't ask for dfs. As long as you don't curse the enemy in-game chat,there shouldn't be any problems about your 'harrassing'.
