Question about Aion Client

Is it possible to have 2 sets of files for Aion, so that I can run retail on one of them, and gamez on the other?

Also, if anyone knows another way of doing this, please post it on this thread. Been trying to get back on my retail account, but I still wanna play on this server.

if u run aion through the NCSoft launcher it should work fine

 

The problem is that 2.0 is out already. If I upgrade to 2.0, this server will become unplayable until they update as well. Don't really want to go back and forth with downgrading and upgrading... too much time 0_o

 

I am pretty sure you can, you can keep the original Aion directory under the NCSOFT folder for retail aion. And you can just have another folder of aion files for gamez aion. All you gotta do is launch the .exe file for the corresponding game u want to play. If you want retail go under the ncsoft folder and launch the exe there. If you want gamez aion go to your other copy of the aion folder and launcher the gamez.exe file. At least its what i think , wait for the pro's to respond. hehe

 

Just copy the folder, and rename it to something else, and update the original the way you want.

And use the GamezAion launcher whenever you want to log on GamezAion, and the NCSoft launcher to log on retail. I do this too.

 

yes you can, ill explain how to...Find your ncsoft folder in your program files (C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft) in that folder there should be 2 folders, one named Aion and one named Launcher. Right click then copy your Aion folder and paste it next to your original....rename that folder to GamezAion so you know which folder is which, Modify your system.ovr and free fly in the new folder you created, when you open the new folder you created look for a shortcut that says "GamezAion GamezAion Launcher GamezAion" copy that shortcut and place it where you feel comfortable (desktop etc)

With your regular Aion folder, take the modified files out and any other modifications you made, basically make it clean again, you can repair your original folder with your nclauncher for retail.

 

Yeah, it is possible. At one point I had like five copies of Aion...

DUDE why do copies ..... just to BIN 32 ..... u installe gamez luncher ....and whene u wanna to play infinitie for ex u copy the bin32 in the same file ( bine 32 ( 2) ) and u installe the infinitie ( will replace the 1 st bin 32 )
