Question about Arbiter's gears ??

Hi is the only way to get the Arbiters gear is to buy it from the shop? because I cant buy it in game from the npc for some reason it says "some items are not allowed to be selled by this npc", should I repair my item pack or this is a set up by the GMs so we should only buy it from the shop ? inched:

that sux so whats the purpose of this private server if it is a PAY TO WIN then lol, 35$ to buy one item yeah..so full gear around 500$ or wait 10 months to buy it with votes, I'd rather play official server at least there is a fair pro pvp game there. you earn it you got it. But i just wanna know again why we should play a private server?? witch cost triple $$ than to play a regular one

yes so the only way to enjoy a fair pvp game here is to empty your wallet $$ , no pvp gears are allowed to be bought in game...LOL

 

You can't buy anything with ceramedals. At least not for a while until a better set comes into play.

Actually, your wrong about "no pvp gears are allowed to be bought" on retail. 50% of the top geared players on retail spend thousands of dollars to get their gear illegally.

No one is forcing you to donate or vote. But thats the only way that this server makes money is through donations. The gov gear is extremely easy to get. Requires only cheap AP that anyone can get in less than 1 day. If we allowed people to buy Arbiter sets from NPC, literally everyone will have the best set and there will be no way that the server gets money and then the server will not have any funds to stay alive since a dedicated server like this cost about 700$ a month just to remain up then there is domain name that we have to pay for which is another couple dozen, then its the forum domain name, so add another couple dozen then we have the people who run the server who may depend on the donation to live their life. Everyone else in staff are volunteers.

Retail, they make their money off of player base, and ever since REtail became free to play, Gameznetwork lost thousands of players who switched to retail.

A private server is exactly what it is. A "Private server". They need to make their money some how and the less players we have, the less support we have as well so less money is rolling in. And what happens when less money comes in every month? We need to compensate for that drop in income by raising prices so we can keep this server working.

Sure we can lower the cost of running the server but that means getting a less efficient server that supports less players and crashes alot more.

This server, anything is free. Thats why you vote. I got my first Arbiter set without donating or voting. I just traded alot of small stuff for bigger stuff which eventually got into even bigger stuff that lead to getting me pieces for arbiter. Then i donated for my next 3 sets.

Private servers are not perfect but this server was made back when Retail cost about 20 - 30$ a month to play. And back then, a good PVP set was extremely hard to get, especially on retail. Here, everyone can level to the max level and do things you cant do on retail. Such as wear officer grade equipment like Amba and Arbiter. On retail, most players spend weeks to get pieces for Bloodmark set. Then it takes months to get a few pieces for shepherd and amba. People spend weeks on retail to get their set +10 or +13 or +15. Most people dont even have a +5 set since its that hard and expensive to get the gear enchanted. People spend months getting their sets perfected and as soon as they do, the next patch introduces a new set. Then they have to start all over.

This server compensates for that as many players dont have that kind of time or patience. So they come here where everything is done up to 500x faster.

And i can also remind, that on retail, there are illegal ways to getting gear. So yea, you can get a good level 65 aP pvp set by going to illegal kinah sites that you spend about 500$ to get enough kinah to buy Courier scrolls to buy PVP 5 piece set Only and Enchant it. So Retail or Gamez, Both servers have PaytoWin players. Gamez is actually cheaper to "PaytoWin " as all you need is about 400$ (US) to get the best set in the game and best Accessories, and best weapon and fuse and wings and socket it. On retail, cost about 1300$ to get the best level 60 AP PVP Set + accessories or about 2000$ to get the 2nd Best AP PVP set but then you need to spend a couple months to get the rank required to wear that set. Which is alot harder now since you gotta get GP instead of AP.

So free players on retail are stuck with Bloodmark gear till they can get lucky enough to get hundreds of cera medals or mithril medals to get a better set.

one more thing was bothering me, the stuff has removed god stones loot too? because i know some mobs where the gs rate drop a bite high but i have been farming them 2 days with this increased rate of drop of the server but no loot..

 

Some items are hard to get here as well as retail. Just so that not everyone will have everything the same. I spend about 6 hours to get the normal Greater running scroll designs from mobs drop. But its still easier to get here than on retail because i know the same design will take days or weeks to get.
