It has been 2 months or more since I last played my PC and Aion specifically...
Downloaded my 4.0 Aion @ Manila

and now that I am home...

this happened...




ERROR!!!
CORRUPTED......................

and all i got is this old 3.7 (from my HD that is running on this Home PC of mine)

and I cant figure out if there is a way for me to link this new freakn NCSOFT installer to my 3.7 to atleast just have 6gb of update rather than a 26+ gb of download of this super SLOW internet connection

RAGE!!!

 

Believe the only way is a reinstall.

You can link your old client to NCsoft Launcher at the moment of "installing Aion", it asks for a folder to save the client, do this:
-Cut ALL the files from your old Aion client folder
-Go to the folder where you installed Aion (Usually is at C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion)
-Paste the files in that folder
-Run the Aion shorcut inside the folder
-Click in File Repair

 

just do a fresh start. //delete aion folder completely and re-install it from scratch and it works.

 

ok. i will try that.
i managed to change the path to D by changing the one @ regedit. when i clicked update, it started downloading the patch on the drive D.

right now i canceled the update and now pasting the 3.7 client in it and will click repair as you suggested
