Ranger Buffs Are Out of Whack

Ranger buffs need to clearly be looked at as they don't work as intended. For example if you have bestial fury and aiming up which are 2 ranger buffs that are allowed to be on at any time unless you equip focused shots or dodging then it will cancel the most previous buff used.

When running around with bestial fury and aiming on, I use mau and it cancels out my previous buff that I put on. Same thing goes for if I use bestial fury and aiming and I equip bow of blessing it cancels the previously used buff, it should not do this, it's supposed to add to your stats because you are buffing yourself up to either do major dps on an enemy mob or for pvp. If you don't believe me you can just play ranger as I have dedicated years to one in the actual aion game that isn't a private server. Please fix these buffs, it makes the class unbearable to play!

 

Ouch wreckage. I know it is suppose to cancel the previous buffs only if they are shared like Bestial, Aiming, Dodging, Focused, shots etc.... But bow of blessing removing previous buffs, that's broken. Should try to record if ya can or show the GM in-game. Oddly enough, you're the only one that's reporting this

GM are aware of this. It was reported twice in bug section yet.

 

Just for info to you, it's not just your own buffs, if another class gives u support buffs / Heal over time skills like Light of Rejuvenation, Splendor of Recovery from clerics. Basically any additional buff even using a scroll will remove the 1st buff u have out of the two.

Bs, some rangers killed me in 8 seconds yesterday with mau. Still OP even with these buff "bugs" lol.

 

This bug was noticed literally 5 minutes after the update went live. We are already aware. There's even more to the bug than you said, because the canceling happens literally with every single buff that's put on you. Be it a healing buff, a healing dot, a scroll, or your own buff.

I notified the admins about the bug right after it happened. It seems like they tried to fix the previous unlimited buff usage by limiting the buffs to 2 at a time, but they messed up and enforced that rule on ranger about every single buff ingame which is not what is supposed to happen.

All you can do right now is if your buffs get removed or canceled, just buff yourself again and they will stay there. If a buff of yours gets canceled when it isn't supposed to, if you re-cast it after it disappears, it will not disappear. I know it is not the easiest thing to do, but right now that's the only thing you can do.

I apologize for the inconvenience and I also hope that this gets fixed soon. It is unfair and shouldn't be happening.

uhh u got a legion only for assassins? im so jealous. i did that back in the old days with my Deathstab sin (asmo) and legion was called < s h i n o b i >

ran with a party of assassin on hide mode. went to heiron and saw a ranger. one did a buff (so ranger saw it on his combat log) then popped eye 2. and saw a party of assassin dancing around. I think it freaked him out and ran.... so we killed him. with normal attack.

you guys should do that legion. with only 1 map to pvp. should be easier to hunt down Wanted guys.
Assassinate the wanted ones. and share the prize. i'd do that if i had an assassin tbh. assassin gears to be exact.

how is that being bugged, anybody whose played aion knows that a fully buffed ranger has bestial fury, focused shots, bow of blessing and mau up all at the same time, you're saying that a ranger can only choose two of those buffs, fuck off, guess i'll just go back to aion where when a ranger has more than 2 buffs which is normal because that's how the class was made i won't get banned and here i thought private servers would be better but you can't even play the class as it's mean to be, gg
