Ranger's damage

Okay, first of all guys, I'm not exactly complaining about Ranger's damage, since I have a lvl 55 Ranger too and I've always liked Ranger/Hunter/Sniper class, I just want to hear other's opinion about this thread.

So, few minutes ago, I was at the abyss, just wandering around, and I found a group of Elyos that killed me. Okay, no problem, it can happens. But, suddenly, I went to combat chat and noticed Ranger's damage. Meh, really, I was kinda surprised





Wow, 2.7~3k crit.. That's amazing, maybe I forgot the damage that Rangers can do ingame, I don't know, but isn't it such high damage for a ranged class? I mean, I've played many MMOs (I won't quote any, since it would be like I'm advertising them, of course) and I've almost always started with Hunter-like class, but seriously, their damage on those MMOs wasn't that high as it is on Aion/GamezAion. Also, isn't supposed that close melee class should do more damage than ranged melee ones?

melee damage is a bit higher than it should be on this p server. retail isn't like this

 

bleh 3k is nothing.

ranger dmg is low imo.

I was in the abyss the other day, and on my ranger an asmos hit me for 6.9k~ with Disorienting blow (melee skill)...

so melee is even more dmg

 

get some new materials.

2.5k-3k? <.< Either I just haven't noticed how much my ranger do or just not paid enough attention thought it was more lol. Oh, well sounds about right to me.

 

players with low def have greater attacks

guys look at this . i have +15 anuaharat set and still elvi damage me 10k+ is this posible? he can 1 hit me. WTF damge

 

That was a sorc's DP skill, not a ranger.

 

yes its posible, i can use lethal arrow for more than 15k critical if im lucky

I Think all class have a skill or more that is op. In retail its not like this... but wel...

 

maybe the ranger who killed has a complete buff and in mau form.. thats why it dmg you 3k... its normal broXD

 

not sin the max dmg they can possible do is about 1k~

 

Sins do like the most damage per second since they not only attack fast but their "small" damages quickly adds up.

 

Considering Stunning Shot should crit for 4k+ a third of the time, i think we're not where we should be.

 

I can do like 2~3k on my assassin with normal items, they are not quite nuuby tho.

Just damage is *meep*'d if the enemy have some reduction buffs

 

you don't know what you're talking about.not all classes have OP dp skills like Sorc that can 1-shot-kill players.well just OP is not enought to describe Sorc DP skills.
its not just the DP that is OP,its the whole f4cking class.but anyway,we can't do anything about it

well you don't play retail.in retail you don't get to see Tahabata Bow+15.but in retail you see RNG Crits that hit Glad for 4k+.

 

thats normal ranger dmg but im sure he had an abyss set
