Reduce the lag

There is probably already a thread regarding this, if so please pass me the link, if not then i shall continue,...

I've heard that most players are using this Reduce the lag, for better ping latency. I have tried it a few months ago and after using it, it seem to have no effect on my ping, I still have a range of 300 up to 500 ping in bad days, and im happy enough with a ping of 250 or below, even so, others have 2 digit ping or even 200 below ping, I dont know if i am doing or using the reduce the lag correctly or not, but if someone would be kind enough to give me a walk through step by step on how to install and use/activate this "reduce the lag".

Have you set your RTL account for Aion?
like this? mine goes down from 500+ to 300-370 with RTL 290-320 pass midnight..
