    Ecchi and H is one of the manga and anime title of an erotic genre. The word is Japanese but comes from the English "H" , which in turn is probably an abbreviation of the Japanese word "hentai" which means pervert. The genre should not be confused with hentai because there just is some nudity and no genitalia is shown. The genre is almost always mixed with other genres, often humorous and / or romance . Love Hina is an example of a manga that is a mix of ecchi and humor.
