So all I see is Gladiators

Hello! I just started playing on this server recently, and I feel that 90% of the players I see are Gladiators, and quite a few Assassins. I wanted to play Spiritmaster, Ranger or Chanter but are any of them even good here with everyone having +15 pvp gear? I feel like I get 2 shot on my SM and Ranger on Siel. I realize I'm not that geared but even with full +15 cloth, I feel like I would get stomped. Should I just make a Glad/Temp and gear them out or keep going with SM/Ranger? Advice on the 3 classes I'm interested in would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

 

it rlly depends wat u want to play tbh, but i would recommand gladiator just cause of the defense as u mentioned..
but idk, try it out and see which ones ud like to do xD

 

How about Templar? Are they pretty good pvp-wise? Because I'd rather make a needed class than a overplayed class

 

All classes good at pvp, if you got good gear + good hands

It all depends on your skill and of course your equipment.

 

in my opinion, if u have interests in playing spirit master go for it as much as I hate spiritmasters it's one of the cheapest class to play.. Also learn each classes and study they're skills and think of ways on how to use em can also google up some guides. They arnt really that gear reliant. Templars too as long as u have just enough defence to tank u should be fine with decent gears such as abg.

 

On Lumiel, the top 4 Finalists were Templars for the PvP Tournament...gives you a glimpse at their strengths when going up against different types of opponents.

 

All of them are great, it only needs good gears and good ping, and also, you must how to use them well.

 

I would have to suggest trying all the classes. That would give you a much broader way of looking at how and what you wanna play the most. Also for now I should say do not focus on whose winning who or getting stomped for that matter. Just learn and play the class. All pros here came from where you at right now...

u MAD dat event was so unbalanced...in Lumiel DP allowed u mad? me glad vs templar? nasekan..full hp..not good idea..with dp templar win easy cuz def..skills..(except cake i pwn him) ^^ and i cant imagine sile with dp + full stigmas GOD.......

anyway was a good 1-1 but not fair...^^

and ZERSKILZ plates are not easy than they look..why? cuz u need to be closse ur target ...and if ur not fast enought just dont fight casters..^^
anyway..try all classes and decide later..

 

It's kinda funny how everyone thinks a SM is mega easy to play.

It is if you're a fear lock spammer then it's easy.

But it's more then that timing of each skills and wich debuffs against wich class etc and be realy good at kiting & dotting.

The most easy class to play is Sorcerer.

Any class owns with decent ping and pvp gear.

If you have a bad ping on gamez like 500 or more up to 1k u should be a Sorcerer or something.

When you have like less then 300 ms kinda everything is good.

 

Just going to say that that cleric lizzie don't count she is haxor....the event winner..


Templars are one of the hardests classes to truly master but once they are they can be almost impossible to beat even by multiple people.
Glads are also one of the classes that get looked down on as (easy to play) well the basics of glad are easy true but mastering glad takes lots of time playing the class and knowing what to do in a given situation.
My advice starting out i went with spiritmaster on this game ..it was easiest to gear up and ....doesnt need top gear to be good ..just look at soulbreak he uses eas gear and can beat some of the top geared players on the server...its all about the knowledge you have of the class you play ...study your skills and actually think ..dont spam fear you do not need it in 90% of situations.
Also yes people think sm is mega easy to play...but fight against a ranger or an assassin and only the sms who know what they are doing are going to come out alive.

Chanter i can say is NOT a bad choice if u chose that either but also hard class to master very few have done so.

 

Hm an sm can easly own a glad. Yeah sm's are low defence but all you have to is do 2 dots at a glad then bind/silence him so he cant use skills or buffs then spam him with dots/debuffs and then fear again if he is still alive.

 

if yu are ely pls play SM, seriusly we need more ,,,something i see like 5 of them inb 1 singple group
