Welcome to the new Stonespear Siege.

This is a new under taking for the Legions of Daeva's fighting both each-other and Beritra. It is simply a divine slaughter fest with some possible perks for the top legion of the week. There are three areas that can be contest for. Bomire Village, Cet Village and, Arden Village for both factions. These will look like large Camp Icons on your map and be prominent upon looking at it.

Now, what happens? Well, as a Brigade General it is your responsibility to make sure that your legion is able to participate in the fight, it will gleam rewards for both the dungeon, and if you happen to take the top rank for the specified region for the week. Here are the requirements to participate!

    1. Legion must be level 6
    2. You must have an alliance of up to 12 Legion Only Members
    3. Entrance Key gained by doing legion tasks
Once you are able to fill the requirements, you as a Brigade General will need to go to the legion menu (G - Preset Hotkey).

Once you have made it this far, you will then click on 'Select Territory', that will bring up the following box.

    stonespire2.png

The region cannot be changed it is set depending on if you are Elyos (Cygnea) or Asmodian (Enshar). However, you will select one of the three villages to do battle over. You can click show location to see which one is which, or the button which is hidden at the moment which will confirm your selection, and bring up a confirmation prompt.

This is your last chance to change the Territory you want your legion to do battle over. Once you hit that OK button? You will be locked into that territory battle for the week. The territory rankings will reset each week, so if a Territory Battle starts on Monday the 1st. It would not be reset and ranked until the following Monday the 7th.

Once the week is over, the participating legions will be ranked according to points gained. Once ranked, the top legion will own the selected territory for one week, while new ranking battles are happening. So it is in your best interest to perhaps fight for the same one? It depends on you Brigade General. As you will need to select a new territory to battle over once ranking is set for the previous week.

How to Battle and What Happens
As mentioned above, you will gain a key from Legion Tasks. This key is used to allow entry into the instance for ranking points to be accumulated.

The instance has four stages where you will battle against monsters and bosses. They will get progressively harder as the fight continues.
Your Alliance of Legion Mates will gain points as they kill the spawned in monsters over a period of 30 minutes. Once that time elapses, the instance will end or well if you all die, or happen to somehow gain 100,000,000 points in a single sitting.

    Territory Battle Instance Ending Conditions
    • 30 Minutes Elapses
    • Everyone Dies (yay!)
    • Somehow gain 100,000,000 Points (Yep, 100 Million)
There are Rewards based on rank. These range from F - S (f being the worst, s being the best).
We will update this with more accurate information at a later time, as the rewards may be different from what are typically given.

    At Weekly Ranking
Once the ranking resets itself and an occupying legion is named your legion mates only will have access to special NPC's that are spawned into your territory. Only your legion can access these special NPCs and anyone else will be barred from them.

Also, you will gain a special PvP Defense buff with-in your territory's sphere of influence.
Another fun fact! You will be able to see people with the Conquerors Buff regardless of rank what a twist!

Yet, another set of rewards will be sent to the Territory Owning Legions Brigade General for Distribution.
We will update this with more accurate information at a later time, as the rewards may be different from what are typically given.

Finally! There will also be a special Key that drops as a rare from Mobs and Bosses in both Cygnea and Enshar.

    riftkey.png
Any legion member is able to use this item. It will create a rift with in your occupied territory, that anyone is able to use (up to 96 players max), which will be connected to the opposing factions area (be it Cygnea --> Enshar or Enshar --> Cygnea). This sounds like a rather good way to plan raids with friends, to try and get into the pesky, dastardly enhanced instances! Which by the way, you can only access those if you go to them through the opposing factions lands.

Welcome to AION 4.8, Upheaval. We hope you find this update enjoyable, fun, and as fulfilling as we did in testing and writing out these guides for you.

Assets Used: NCSoft Retail Forums (CM Hime's Post) for information and graphics.
