Templar HELP

Hi ppl! I decided to go temp as I absolutely love this class But through gameplay lots of questions rose along with it.

What two skills would you add and - is it even an ok build?

2. Manastones - what is the best to use? Parry/block? MR? I was thinking about going att/crit for a more offensive templar, but I really don't yet know.

3. Gear - I have now traded EAT leather to EAT plate +15 and tommorrow I'm getting my ABG GS which I'll fuse with Yamenes GS I think. Everything +15 of course.

Now my question - Is it OK to go with ABG GS or should I take something else? Like sword or shield? What's the best to use in pvp? And my biggest question - If I go ABG GS +15 will I be able to take down ppl fast enough? I mean, it's no use if I have tons of def if every1 will run away from me cos I won't be able to finish em of fast enough What do you say?

Personally I could just get the last two skills on the bottom tree.
As for mana stones I've heard block is broken.
Attack mana stones only add to auto attack damage so unless you plan on weaving don't use em.
Your best options right now are going crit/hp or crit/parry. The only way MR is most useful is to have an alt set full MR.

 

i personally would choose exact tree with punishing wave and shield burst, since 2.5 shieldburst is essential as knockbacker, and UD and AA are ur best friends, i have build, with mixure;MR,ATK,crit,Block atm, and having chain MR set and plate set, but the thing is u need to find ur own way, theres no right or wrong way, its the style of play, will u play offence or defence etc, etc.

for the weapon question, shield and mace, then extendable greatsword, and dmg greatsword. and ofc abg is the best, but with ext.gs u need eat gs with fuse.

and for the running, u need to keep them close to u, thats why u need badly extenable greatsword, doom lures range will increase from 16->21m and remove shocks stun pull reaches to 30m, and keep ur opponent at ground if it tries to run.

 

Unless you weave then using atk IS the wrong way

Your tree is fine, just add punishing wave and shield burst.

yeah its op until, the buff ends, with MR set at right time used, u kill lots of sorcs and sms. talking about expierence, almost everytime at pvp event i have sorc/sm at final match against me.

 

Ok, so I figured out my temp just fine
Btw I have chosen the crit/hp build, with crit up to 690 without crit scroll to make those crits land as much as possible

But I have one more question.

I have bought myself an ABG GS, which I fused with taha GS atm (waiting for Yamenes GS at least). But as I see (haven't tested in pvp yet), I dish out much more dmg with sword+shield on mobs (though my taha sword id +15 while the ABG GS is +0 still). Was buying an ABG GS a mistake or is it ok for pvp?

 

1. Your build is perfect, so you have 2 options for the last two spots, either get the 3k heal from the top tree or get shieldburst from the bottom, me personally would get the shieldburst and aoe root over a heal, but depends on if you solo a lot and what manastone build you use.

2. Get two sets, one plate and one chain. In your plate stack crit until you have enough then you can either stack block or attack in the rest, also depends on if you like to dps or tank. In your chain set stack full MR.

Answer to your question: Yes abg gs is good to use, another good gs to use is master carved drenium greatsword. As you can see here: Item Compare the mcd gs has a few more extra stats compared to the abg gs, i would fuse a mcd + abg gs to be a good and powerful combine.

 

Well I went for the shieldburst and "ankle snare" like thingy as my bro plays a cleric, and we'll mostly duo around, so I guess another super immobilize skill and shieldburst will come in very handy.

 

And I found out that with taha sword+shield all +15 I do MUCH bigger DPS than with ABG GS even Now I have to w8 for 12 days to trade the ABG GS to either sword or mace.

 

Is your abg gs fused? +15? oh and btw, use a mace.

 

Don't listen to Anonymous. Be a defense temp or an offensive one. Stack block/crit, mr, or attack/crit.

I've played every melee class on Lumiel and stack attack. I've hit harder then everyone else, so dont tell me attack only effects autoattack.

 

Stop taking LSD when you play then? Either that or the code is broken server side which makes it work that way. I said it 15 times last time you decided to have this retarded argument with me, that it SHOULDN'T effect skills.

 

It SHOULD. Why else would players on retail even stack it? 100 attack adds 100 attack damage to everything. You said yourself you haven't played in months, how can you possibly know? Unless you can show proof like I can there's no reason you should be telling everyone asking a question the same wrong answer.
