Tera? Tera.

So, I'm going to be playing Tera but right now I don't know anyone else that has confirmed that they will be playing, is anyone from Gamez getting Tera or am I going to be a foreveralone on the hunt for new friends when I start playing? ;_;

GW2 is only just now starting public closed beta testing D:

I'm waiting for GW2 but I can't survive off of WoW-style MMOs (that includes Aion) until it comes out, so Tera is there to fill the gap. and maybe a bit of Diablo 3

 

I'm playing an Aman Lancer in retail. Been playing all of the betas, including the European betas. I've played every class to level 20, and Lancer is by far my favorite. I pre-ordered before I even tried the beta.

I hope you can find a good group of people to play with Lucent. The game is really a lot of fun. If you have any questions send me a PM.

Got it pre-ordered as well. So yes I will be playing it. Not sure what class or race I'll go yet though.

 

Actually GW2 is already going to open Pre-orders on the 20th of April so its almost time for release. :O

 

I'm not trying to sound ignorant. But I honestly don't know too much about GW2. What separates it from all the other MMO's in the current market?

 

GW2 doesn't have a release date set in stone yet. It'll probably be the beginning of 2013. I've already got it pre-ordered from Gamestop.

Yeah, it has pre-orders open (10th of April btw >.>), but that gives it a LOT of time to release. Given how long it usually takes a game to go from public CBTs and pre-orders to actual release, I highly doubt it will be out til quarter 4 of this year or early 2013 as Daven said, which is also what ArenaNet has predicted

EDIT: Just for clarification, Tera has its release date as April 28th for head start. GW2 has its pre-order date as April 10th, no actual confirmed release date. No release date is an obvious indication if it being months away, everyone should know that

riiight because a cross-targeting system automaticaly makes it a non-wow-style mmo , tank dat bigass boss with the little lolli ftw you got a healer after all.Oh and dont forget to grind

Its definitely a lot more engaging, its the furthest from being the generic WoW formula that has released this year in terms of AAA MMO's

If you're looking for a group of people to play with, my friends and I will be playing together as a guild on release (there's maybe about 10~15 of us so far). We're on serpentis isle for the betas.
