Thanks for killing SM's...

    Ok seriously now....I see that alot of skills have been reimplemented, such as the new 51-55 stigmas + skills. Most classes got some great skills, but alas SM's skills are pretty good as well....if they worked right. Hand of torpor for instance.... a 2 minute cooldown sleep for 20 seconds....too bad its been changed to only last 5 seconds.... a 3 second cast for a 5 second sleep... fucking worthless.

    Also I noticed pet damage has been fixed....but not defenses. Before patch my pets would hit pretty damn hard....around 1600 a hit on players... but also players would hit my pets for the same amount they would to an npc mob...thus evening it out. Now the pets have been nerfed down to only hitting players for 3-500 a hit... but still get hit as if they were mobs. Making them pretty much useless as well. Dieing in just a few hits from a players AOEs.

    Speaking of pets, its nice to know that our regular pre patch pets have been fixed to not be summoned as a lv 5, but yet the new earth and water pets for lv 55 still havnt been....kinda sucks trying to kill a 55 glad when my 48 earth pet misses every melee and gets every spell resisted.

    Noting that dispell now works..... but not the ones that are actually worth casting... such as ignite aether, and magic implosion. Now if normal dispell works, then the mechanic for debuffing is working.... then why isnt the good ones...

    Ever since the begining none of the summon elements have worked. This isnt to big of a deal seeing as how it is a different mechanic than regular DOTs, so its prolly actually "bugged" but still ... its another form of damage that could help out. This also fucks over the summon cyclone spirit stigma thats just wasting space in my skill list. Fixing this would help tremendously.

    I know I'll prolly get some flame responses, but you know if you put all of your time into one class, thats actually pretty good on live, just to have admins of this server change half your spells to not last as long or hit as hard just because they see it as "OP" and label it as a bug is somewhat gear grinding. If any server admin or staff see this post, please inform me if Im wrong, and explain why some of my spells have been changed.

    Lastly, I did write this post after getting on my beloved SM to go out and pvp....the reason I play on this server, just to get fucking ass raped over and over by just about every class because of these changes, has left me in some what of a rage...so my post may be a bit class biased, so forgive me if I sound one sided.

    But again, just on here to get any form of a response from someone who has the answers im looking for and if, any changes are planned. If not im pretty sure SMs will die out forever....along with my intrigue for supporting this server. Thank you.

    5 Second sleep matters a lot, in that 5 second you can stack Fear and Infernal pain, so IMO it is still a good move,

    Pets damage, Yesterday when i was leveling my SM to 55, my spirits worked fine and they hit 1,000-1,600
    The level 55 pet data is still being gathered

    I believe dispell will get fine in time, when its partly here later times its full functioning here.

    Yes summon energies are great factors making difference in duels but i think still the mechanic of energies are complex



    You should be a little more patient, Most of the things you have mentioned except energies are minor things and they might get fixed in an update of 2~3.

    what you want change? this skills and cooldown set NCSoft so dont cry. if you dont like SM so dont play.

    what??? is that true hand of topor sleeping buff reduce from 20 scnd to just 5 scnd??? what the....if that true. i just wanna say !#@$$#!#@#@......coz i still dont try it my sefl...cannt OL here....but last time i remembered, the sleeping buff still 20 scnd...

    If Ignite Aether, Contract of Resistance and Magic Implosion worked the way they were intended, I would be more than satisfied. Oh, having summoning alacrity and spirit absorption working would be helpful during raids.

    summoners here are uber gimped to the point where they go hand in hand with a mob. but its mainly because 50% of their skills dont work,while 10% dont work the way they should,and another 10% are getting resisted by anything and everything.... fuking sucks...

    they have atleast 30% skills working for them, but yea, sleeps duration sucks balls. 5 secs FTL

    but its simply because the GM's are still trying to fix everything,which makes it even longer to fix.

    if they concentrated on 1 thing at a time,everything would get fix immediately, but trying to fix all at once? lol this is gonna take a while

    ex;chlora and carl work on the item pak together = fixed by tomorrow

    if they decide to work on that AAAANNNDDD everything else, is gonna be a while till it gets fixed.

    so my advice,be patient and just wait and see what happens next. i made all classes for this main reason,i get to enjoy other classes when some of them get nerfed or gimped.

    On retail there were multiple role's a SM was vital for.

    #1: Removal of buff's. This is not functioning here... templar's are an utter JOKE to a spiritmaster... or should be because of this.

    #2: Fear's, silences, etc: I haven't played my sm in a while but from what I've heard is that these skill's are broken... the spiritmaster class revolves around the ideal of control and keeping the battle in the palm of their hand... without these skill's the class is an utter joke.

    *On that note I will go to hand of Torpor, the fact that the sleep effect only last's 5 second's is a bit of a joke to me.. especially considering it is a 2.5 sec cast time and the only sleep the class get's. That is a fair bit of a piss off, especially to someone like me who got all excited about the "first real sm cc".

    #3:
    -Spirits, the pet's auto attack seem's fine... luckily enough the buff dependency there is removed... but the pet's are STILL buff reliant for magic boost, which is Terribly gimping in a world where every last sorc has a Tahabata orb! Also, most pet command's aren't even working from when I last tried them, for example my wind spirit's "Spirit disturbance"... a stun, didn't take effect at all :pinched:. This probably is the biggest smack to the face for all spiritmaster player's as the pet was the only form of "spiking" that the sm could do.

    -Servants, the servant's as in the summoning of the two little thingy's really doesn't bug me half as much as the fact that summon energy of cyclone is not functioning. Probably the only true "burst" of the class (aside from weaken spirit, which does not do extra damage onto a feared target...) was using "Summoning Alacrity" and bursting this servant up with the other one's as added dot's/distraction.

    #4: Buffing
    -Spirit pet buff's don't appear to modify values on player characters.
    -Spirit Substitution doesn't work... which is a core SM ability for survival.
    -Spirit Absorption does not function :S
    -I HOPE to see buff dependency in all form's removed on this server, as it was a MAJOR deterrent to all player's on retail when it came to this class... and that same deterrent show's here as well.

    And much more, too tired to think up more.

    But, all in due time. The Gamez Aion Team is working hard to fix all issue's, time is the only remedy though.

    Thanks for the feedback, great breakdown on the class...I was to furious to place my thoughts into a well placed chart system. Prolly would have made it a bit more reader friendly. But also a few things on some of your points, fears and silences currently work, even though it doesnt really matter much with all the other shit thats broken but its a start.

    Lets just keep hoping they find a quick fix to all of the SM skill list and put us back in the mix of good pvp and pve classes.

    FYI that is how sorc sleep and tree work in game as well. It last 20 secs if you use it on a mob. But if it is a PC then the time is cut greatly.

    less than 10-15sec. ur dead already >.>
