    Empyrean Lord
The Twelve Empyrean Lords are powerful beings created by the god Aion to protect humans from the Balaur army. In time, the Lords would lose two of their number and become divided, leading to the war between the Elyos and the Asmodians as the two factions split up into the Shedim Lords and the Seraphim Lords.

    Two Tower Guardians
These make the remaining two of the twelve Empyrean Lords, who they sacrificed their lives to defend Atreia when the Tower of Eternity was shattered in the Cataclysm.

    Israphel (Lord of Space)

The Lords of the four cardinal directions were the leaders of the twelve Empyrean Lords, and they were always known to be noble and pure. However, Israphel began to harbor a desire for greater power, and feelings of jealousy toward Siel. Eventually these feelings led to his corruption.
Israphel called for peace with the Balaur toward the end of the Millennium War. This led to the Cataclysm.
He apparently gave his life in order to stabilize the Aetheric Field enough so that the shattering of the Tower would not cause the whole globe to scatter out into space.

    Siel (Lady of Time)

She was noble and pure, and symbolised by time, and the direction East. She believed that guarding the Tower was her entire reason for being, and her devotion and noble spirit made her an ideal guardian.
When her fellow guardian Israphel called for peace with the Balaur toward the end of the Millennium War, she allowed herself to be talked into it in spite of her misgivings.
When the fighting broke out inside the Tower, Siel realized her fatal mistake and couldn't bear the shame. She used all her life energy to maintain the AethericField so that the world wouldn't shatter completely during the Cataclysm. She and Israphel are the most famous Daevas to have been displaced.

The Shedim: Lords of the Asmodians
When the Tower of Eternity split, the powerful Empyrean Lords split off into two groups. One of these groups were the Shedim Lords, who were cast off into the harsh northern region of the newly shattered Atreia. There, they assembled their Daeva army and vowed to protect the shattered remains of the Tower of Eternity that rested on their lands. Dubbing this the Tower of Darkness, the Shedim believe that the weakness of the Seraphim demand for peace with the Balaur is what lead to their downfall.

    Azphel (Lord of Shadow)

Perhaps the very embodiment of the Shedim and their new home, Azphel was the protector of the north prior to the destruction of the Tower of Eternity. Now, he has taken lead of the Shedim and the Asmodians. As the Lord of Shadow, he has settled into the dark climate of Asmodae, and believes that the weakness of those who proposed peace lead to the destruction of Atreia.

    Zikel (Lord of Destruction)

Protector of Asmodian Warriors, Gladiators and Templars, Zikel is a master of any weapon, and the wrath of his sword is feared by all. His passion for war does have its downsides, however, as his temper and rage can often cause him to lose control, causing him to undertake actions that only serve to further the divide between the Seraphim and the Shedim.

    Lumiel (Lady of Wisdom)

Protector of Asmodae's magic users, Sorcerers and Spiritmasters, Lumiel has studied the aether deeply and has come to master its powers, spreading the benefits to her followers. Tragically, she was close friends with the Seraphim Lord Ariel, but their relationship ended when they failed to see eye-to-eye in regards to the Balaur peace proposal. Since then, they have become enemies.

    Marchutan (Lord of Fate)

Calm, composed, and stoic, Marchutan acts as the patron of Clerics and Chanters. He holds disdain for Zikel's temper and inability to control himself, but remains respectful towards him. Large and imposing, Marchutan is a powerful figure.

    Triniel (Lady of Death)

The protector of all Asmodian Rangers and Assassins, Triniel is collected and deadly. While other enemies rush into battle, Triniel hangs back, analyzes her opponents, finds their weaknesses, and then strikes. Fast and deadly, she is the very embodiment of an Assassin.

The Seraphim: Lords of the Elyos
When the Tower of Eternity split, the powerful Empyrean Lords split off into two groups. One of these groups were the Seraphim Lords, who inhabited the beautiful southern remains of Atreia. These Lords believed themselves to be blessed and chosen by Aion, and blame the Shedim Lords for the destruction of The Tower of Eternity, feeling that their unwillingness to engage in peace talks contributed to the Epic Cataclysm.

    Ariel (Lady of the Light)

Prior to the destruction of the Tower of Eternity, Ariel ruled Southern Atreia and used her wisdom and compassion to protect those within her care. Since the splitting of the world, she has taken up the position of the leader of the Seraphim. While she still displays obvious compassion for the Elyos, she has nothing but disdain for the Shedim Lords and their followers.

    Vaizel (Lord of Freedom)

Care-free and unrestrained, Vaizel is the Lord of Freedom and acts as the protector for the Ranger and Assassin classes. He shares many traits with those classes as well, as Vaizel is often serious and focused despite his easy-going nature, and often wanders the shattered world of Atreia in disguise, observing both friend and foe alike.

    Kaisinel (Lord of Illusion)

The patron protector of Mages, Sorcerers, and Spiritmasters, Kaisinel's connection with the Aether allows him to use powerful spells at any time. However, his mood is gloomy and solitary due to a defeat he once suffered at the hands of Lumiel, one of the Shedim Lords. As the result of this humiliation, he has withdrawn from his fellow Lords to a point that makes them uncomfortable.

    Nezakan (Lord of Justice)

The protector of Templars, Warriors, and Gladiators, Nezakan has an unmatched sense of loyalty to Ariel and the Seraphim. Stoic and tough, Nezakan dispenses justice with his sword and trusted Aegis shield.

    Yustiel (Lady of Life)

As the protector of Priests, Clerics, and Chanters, Lady Yustiel holds life in the ultimate regard. For that reason, the current conflict fills her with a deep sorrow, knowing that the blood of both friend and foe are being spilled. Although she supports the rest of the Seraphim Lords, she hopes that one day both the Seraphim and Shedim can put aside their conflict and reunite.

    >>Let's have a role play guys.
