Soooo... where'd my posts go? I was having an awesome time, thinking of witty remarks and sarcastic comments to increase my likes for these goddamn trophies. But now my post AND LIKE COUNT are down again. Wtf. My good friend Paki made some points painstakingly clear, I'd like to revamp those points and make them even further known to the "public".

To start MY list off, name changes. Name changes used to be rare, or even non-existent. Now I see name changes left and right. Some of them have even been reversed. Not only that, but some people's names have been changing preeetty often. You know who you are.

I'll also point out Spamming. Sure, spamming is aloud in Hotspam, hence the name. However, while that is allowed, it is blatantly not befitting a person of such a position, and leaves no example, and no claims for respect. First off, all these [Game] threads. It's getting pretty ridiculous. As s1ngl3 mentioned, it doesn't set a good example, whatsoever. People see you spamming, they spam, you infract them, they get mad, everybody's sad now.

I'll not mention infractions. But deleting posts for no apparent reason? Ohhh boy. In my honest opinion, most of the reasons for deletion are NOT valid, in any way, to delete posts of anybody's which were made to correct an err of a fellow user. Not only mine were deleted, but also Ddraig's. Not cool.

Not only the person in question himself, but the position as well. If you looked at all previous Supermods, you'd see all the shit that has happened due to that. I'm surprised that the position was even brought back, after all the stuff Bella pulled. THAT was a mistake. Sure, the forums won't break from a little drama here and there, and some spam sprinkled around. But does it create a professional atmosphere for potential players that come looking for a new private server? Not at all.

The logs of the person I speak of are blatant; some are just stupid, while others are plain outrageous. That's all I will say on this matter, it's not my prerogative to share the details. All I can say is that it is what people jokingly say: Power Abuse. Now I don't give a shit about changing Avatars and Signatures, that stuff was funny as hell, and I even encouraged some of it. He's not the only one that did that, so whatever. But deleting posts/threads should really only be done if they do not correlate the the topic, or if you're planning on infracting somebody. The deleted threads? Only for spam. Just because you don't like what the thread says doesn't mean that you need to hide it from public view, that really just shows that the accusations are right and that you don't want other people to realize this. s1ngl3's thread wasn't deleted though, so that's good.

However, I won't step into the facts about Kyle himself. Some of the things s1ngl3 mentioned, I think were wrong. "Dangerous" might be too dire of a term. What I aim this thread at is the position itself, not the person behind the computer. Personally, I think Kyle is a great guy. But nobody is perfect, and I'm sorry to say that those impurities should be brought to a place for professionalism and conversation between users.

I also believe that only people who play the Gamez Aion can be in positions of Staff. As soon as a person retires from Aion, he should resign from Staff as well. Sure, Moderators are just on Forums, but they also deal with people who ask question pertaining to the game. A person who does not play the game cannot answer those questions to the best of their abilities.

There are some other things to mention, but as I said above, it's not in my position to mention them on a public setting such as this. I am not aiming to get rid of the person, rather the position. I do not intend to start any drama, but rather a serious look at the issue before us, and some actual action. I do not wish anybody to be ousted from Staff, nor to cause any rifts. It was not my intention, but whatever happens in the end, I will not regret it. Probably.

    That ends my rant.

Before pointing fingers at people, take into consideration that we are all humans and we cannot be ideal for everybody. If people do not like the hierarchical structure of this company then I believe we have a suggestions section for a reason, which clearly you are using to point fingers. My own opinion is that staff have to work as a team and accept things as they are, not go around and blame each other like we're kindergarten. Get rid of the position? And why is that? What I see is that the position allows us moderators to turn to someone who can actually guide us professionally through the uses of forum and it's tools. Removing such position would affect us, moderators (I believe I speak for all of us) and I am strongly against such action to be taken.

    You're new here, aren't you.

If you looked at all SuperMods in the past, they all ended up in a shithole. Particularly, Bella. And as I have said over and over, I am not pointing fingers, I'm trying to create a better user experience for the people that play on this server. If you asked people whether or not they would prefer to have the SuperMod position here, what percentages do you think you would get? Since, if you're doing your job, you see all the stuff that has to be cleaned by displeased/angry members. And Staff?
See that title I got under my name? Not yellow.
Removing such a position would affect the Mods. You lose a person who can cover up for you mistakes and protect you from all the mobs of players that visit here. But, how many mods are there compared to the average player base? Go ahead, do the math. And for guiding you... That's what Lautaro is for.

Keep in mind that we're not voting on this.
