The file is corrupted.

I launched the game and after choosing my character it says “The file is corrupted” and shuts down after I choose OK.

I’ve had this issue for about 4-5 times already and it’s really annoying that I can’t play after waiting so long for it to download and even worse I downloaded the server 2 days ago and only got to play it once, after that it’s been issue after issue..

Help would be appreciated, thanks

I don’t have a screenshot so I’ll just put what it says
“THE FILE IS CORRUPTED
IF IT PERSISTS, PLEASE RUN FILE-RECOVERY FROM THE LAUNCHER.”
It doesn’t say anything about file-recovery in the launcher.

 

Log out of the gamezbd launcher (upper right corner), then choose "settings" (upper right corner). Click the force check button in the window that pops up, then click "set" and let it patch.

 

Well I relaunched the launcher and it told me to choose game path AGAIN, so I’ll see if it starts updating again like the past hundred times... (seriously, like everytime I leave and come back it tells me to select game path and starts updating, WHEN IT’S SAYS RIGHT THERE “steam/ steamapps/ common/ Black Desert Online” I’m so annoyed right now)

 

The launcher keeps asking me to locate game path evertime I launch the launcher!

It clear says where the game is located and after I choose the same path again, it just starts checking files again...

And it will probably start “UPDATING” after checking files even though the launcher was up to date when I started having issues..

Why is this game doing this to me? Why am I not allowed to play this?!?!

Someone please tell me how to CHOOSE MY GAME PATH AND KEEP IT SO THE LAUNCHER DOESN’T MAKE ME CHOOSE EVERYTIME AND START CHECKING FOR FILES EVERYTIME I LAUNCH THE LAUNCHER...

Please help....
