Thinking about returning

Is it worth returning?
The main thing that bothers me is if we will ever get the new classes, Im PVE player and I mainly play the game from time to time to enjoy the combat and classes, but my god it have been so long since we got something new other than sage and corsair, I am thinking about coming back and playing more but at the same time, Im worried it will be a waste of time if nothing is planned for the game as new classes

 

Personally, ye, I stopped myself for a while because we seemed to hit a road block with updates after Corsair, and with the "quietness" on forums about it kind of irked me. I was fine about the road block, you know sometimes things happen, but what irked me was the whole being quiet about it, and when asked about what was going on was only met with either silence or "we're working on it." I don't really understand why they couldn't just say "hey, we can't update to the Drakania update because of this." Because the quietness just made everyone become angry and distrustful towards the Dev's. I think people would of been more understandable if it was just said, but that's just me and how I feel about that situation.

However I am back myself and returned and there are new things like now like we have Elvia realm to farm for silver etc, the shop got updated with the most recent costumes, new Season of course, and many more. I'm personally happy that we got an update, because I was worried that GamezBD was at it's last stand, it's nice to see that it isn't.

I will say when it comes to new classes, Drakania is my main on PA Official, so personally it would be great if we got her, seeing how we have the "Drakania Awakening" login calendar, I am hoping that means she will come to Gamez. Funny enough I was going to make and continue to go make a Thread asking about Drakania, I have in the past but I can't seem to find that anymore, not sure if it got deleted or lost, no idea. But now too since there is a new update to the game, I think it's worth asking again. I myself is a PVE player. I can say with the current update to the game, it is worth playing it again since we have something to do now, plus the events they come out with as well. But class wise I cannot say, only thing I can say is just keep in touch with the forums about it. I myself have played Gamez for years and will still continue to play it, so many years of time investment that I don't think I'll ever leave lol. But ye, if your too unsure then I would suggest waiting to come back but also keeping an eye on forums. As you said, you don't want to come back only to be disappointed. That's my suggestion.

If you do decide to come back, as an old Veteran player, welcomes you back to the game! If not, well, it's very understandable, I was in that spot too lol.

 

I think I know the idea behind this...Testing out classes and figuring out what you like the most, is indeed a great way to get to know the game, and enjoy it. "Waste of time" in my personal opinion, all games are factually a waste of time, when not factoring in for the enjoyment aspect of them. However specifically about this server project, in comparison to other Pservers, and the official one, this is the best beyond any doubts.

If you want to have a casual approach to games, and just play them for enjoyment, then there is no other server that is better than this one. I would advise you to just go ahead and start playing, Then make up your mind, since Nobody can tell you what you actually like

I am not a part of the GameZ-network staff, but the time I've spent here makes me know some things. The time when the GamezBD developers had an open policy towards what was going on behind the scenes, it had a terrible backlash with a whole lot of players giving flak, for reasons that were idiotic really.
When people who have No idea about what it means, to work on a project like this, start giving their "opinions" (mainly only criticism) on how the development should be this or that, then the whole idea of being transparent with what is going on, falls to pieces.

Basically it didn't matter whether the staff was being open or not, people were still screaming and shouting their heads off, about this or that. So when it comes to how the server is run, I really don't give a bloodychrist, as long as I can still play the game, and it is still there after being away for a year or more.

Does it really matter, if the staff tells you, that it is going to be one more week, then updates to another week, and so on, or if you just get one update; we're updating in a couple of weeks?

I know that there are many game projects, that let players know about how things are going, but in reality how would you know that what they are saying is accurate or not?
