Thinking of moving to lumiel (few questions)

Hey everyone.

I'm super bored and i want a new challenge on Lumiel. (Want to try pvp with stigma system)
Cause it seems alot more balanced and i want to become even better with glad with a stigma system.

But i got a few questions before i'm spending 1.5k Credits and then realising Siel was more fun -.-".
Cause then i gonna need another 1.5k to get back.

So here are my questions:

1) Is it active ? Yes/No or Same like Siel and are the 2 races pretty balanced or are there Much more Ely/Asmo?

2) How is the market ? Like Siel with the 2.5k = abg set + weapons or pretty "okay"?

3) How is the AM Team there on Lumiel ? Are they active ? And "Overall" some nice events weekly ?

4) How are the zergs ? There are probally zergs to but is it The same like Siel or can you find more solo pvp?

5) I'm from Europe (GMT+1) Are there many other Europian players aswell ?

6) There are probally more players that gone from Siel -> Lumiel, Did you notice any ping changes ? Is it better or Worse ?

(i Got 180-200 m/s with only Leatryix on Siel so will it be the same on Lumiel or Higher ?)

7) The PVE is kinda much the same as Siel i guess ? ''Relative'' many people doing instances etc ?

8) I'm kinda out of questions =D just tell me if it's worth it Yes / No & Why =P


That's it and let me know if it would be a good decision or not ? =P

 

Only that I know of, more zergs. :3 Im the guy you met today ingame (skittless_UNK) I came from that place. Zergs, are daily events . And yes, siel is more fun. :d I know because, I've been on Siel, moved there, played awhile, got bored, moved back. So don't use ur credits for nothing.

OK, I don't want to be judged, this is MY opinion only.

 

3) am team is pretty cool there!
4) you can do solo pvp for sure! stigma system makes it easy! you just can't keep pvping in the same spot
5) most players i know are europeans
6) ping is exactly the same, you can create a char and test it
7) idk, never did pve in lumiel
8) worth it if you're tired of all stigmas system

I only get on Lumiel when Siel is Down and when i do, there's just as many ppl as there are in Siel. Not everyone does that, they usually wait for siel to open again, so i guess there is no big diffirence. they got like 100 less players or something. EDIT: i heard elyos are more.

I heard the items you can obtain from the game are a BIT more expensive there due to the lack of players. Less players = less instance runs, less stormwing/padmarashka/sematariux/etc. Ofc they are not too overpriced dw.

3) How is the AM Team there on Lumiel ? Are they active ? And "Overall" some nice events weekly ?
I don't know anything about that sorry, i don't play there much.

Sadly, no. Lumiel is like that: If you try to solo, you will either get ganged by a group or u will find nobody. To find pvp, u need to go to the uhm.. main spots, like balaurea's forts i guess.

5) I'm from Europe (GMT+1) Are there many other Europian players aswell ?
Nope, less europeans than in Siel. Whoever wants to play a no full stigma server goes to retail eu for less lag.

I'll be honest.. i waited at DP for a group for like 2 hours and found none. (When i was getting anuharts for my newb cleric, a few months ago), things might've changed now.. i dunno if that means worse or better however. I assume better because many players joined after the 3.0 update.

Definitely NOT.
Reasons are:
1) Americans there with their 10 ping, ganking u with their sins and feeling like they're someone.
2) Lack of skills which forces you to do group PvP
3) Waste of Credits to move there + waste of time for putting Stigmas.
4) Lack of Players
etc.

1) its active and you can also make dual race account with the tranfer

2) lumiel is a bit more expensive than siel

3) momo face is there

4) zergs there are more than siel's . many unskilled players there sadly

5) many EU players

6) i had lower ping when i was in lumiel



7) stigma pve is nice but also needs more time to find.. support clerics/chanters

8) worths it for the experience

 

I transferred there from Siel, and I'm really glad I did make the move, should've done it a long time ago xD

 

Uh, we have ALOT of EU players probly more than on Siel.. if you r good gear'd and good u could join a EU-Legion : o and we dont have people with 10 ping or w/e, the Stigma-System is no problem i could link u my Stigmatree = GG.

and u better dont listn to people here which never played on Lumiel.

I did play on Lumiel, I even met you. I even dueled you. I have 5 characters on Lumiel. And I know what I'm talking about. 3 Pvp zones maximum, MAXIMUM Boredom, maximum zergs. imo, you will do a big mistake =) Listen to the "California" guy, he would really know lots about the European's ping.

 

actually i was thinking too about moving to lumiel cause 2 skill trees are to unbalanced i just want know do i need get all gear again or ican take all stuff from siel to lumiel?

 

Well, i just saw u once i think when u asked me something about a item and ye, i never do duels = not true that u duel'd me D: .. i was on Siel for over 1 year and i can say that Lumiel is alot more fun than Siel.

Hmm I dueled someone else. My bad =l And about the California thing, I didn't meant you. I was talking about Sharps.

 

Yea, you can use all your inventory, just gotta leave a bit of space, u can use your warehouse, and I believe you can use your acc warehouse as well, correct me if I'm wrong lol. Also u can keep weapons that are combined, so u don't have to "un-combine" them, and as for your gears and weapons that are equipped, that's fine also.

 

First, of all there is zergs everywhere and players rarely pvp a lone, only usually the season players usually solo. I been in siel ever since the beginning, and I do not see point saying lumiel is more zergy, because siel is same LOL, the thing to keep in mind is that zerg in lumiel is less powerful- since they do not have every skill avaliable to them to unleash upon you. And if you do solo, and you are an okay player, you can probably manage 3 vs 1 compare to siel- all these just because classes are limited on stigma skills they have on. and speaking of maximum boredom this all depends who you know and roll with- because all the features same ( over crowded red dot or very little). I think it helps of who you play with that determines if the server is you other wise the only factor differ from siel to lumiel is one stigma and one isnt and bonus on lumiel less hackers known fact =) I can go to zerg well not even random group and find one hacker at least so sad...

Played in Lumiel for 2 years, GM'ed there for a while aswell, Yet I never liked it.

1)Depends on what you mean by active.. Siel has around 5x The pupolation Lumiel has.. Perhaps even more.. Not sure tho but it's around that, On weekends you won't find anyone unless you log from Around 10am (GMT+1) to 2 PM (GMT+1).. On Sundays the server is literally dead.

2)Lumiel market is the same as Lumiel, the only actual change is the SW items value due to the lack of players there, And what's most important Lumiel people don't tend to know the actual value of rare stuff.. (I literally got an Enchanting Sorc set for 5Billions there, when it's worth around 12k creds in Siel apparently)

3)You find some GM's from time to time , Yet haven't seen if there any atm due to the new AMT's... You won't see much activity anyways since not many players tend to choose lumiel as their preferred server.

4) Zergs aren't that big yet you won't find solo pvp mostly, You might find some yet you'll have to spend over 1 hour running around looking for someone to at least pvp with.. Zerging in Gelk / Heiron is the only Massive PvP you'll find tho. Yet I'm not sure how things will go once they fix the Lv.60 PvP areas and Forts.

5) You'll find people from everywhere.. Yet most of them are from Philipines, Brazil and some from USA. Haven't see that much of europeans there tbh

6) Ping is a lil less yet not considerable. [It's only a +/- 10ms decrease prolly].

7) You'll find people doing instances in the times I mentioned in Question #1, Other than that noone actually makes groups to raid anything, unless you join a Raiding legion or some legion which is willing to help you to run some instances.

8) It's worth a try.. You might like it or not since each one has its own preferences.. If I actually wanted a Stigma based server I'd join retail since it's FTP now.. Gears aren't much of a nuissance nowadays ~ But I guess it's nice not to see OP classes like you do in Siel.
