These are some problems ..that i can't understand^^:
1- wy sorcs items have attk speed in place of casting speed? hahaahahah for me is realy funy...is nonsense^^ i think sm's have the same^^ .magic don't need attk speed lolz ..hahahaha c'mon
2-glads demange is crazy..also crytical rate--form 10 shots -9 are cryt ....
3-if u are a sorc with 2000mb u make less that 3 k with gl shard .....are u kidding .....haha is a sorc^^ on others servers that i checked sorcs demange is much grater^^
4-roots .... on this server roods evects dissapear after 1 attack ( sorcs roots) ..but glads ones don't ^^ ....hehe ....in spell description it don't say that the target will be released after first attack( IS NOT ABOUT THE THREE TRANSFORMATION SPELL - CURSE OF ROTS ) IS about root^^ ) BTW ..on others servers like - Atomix ******* and i heard retail also ...roots don't dissapear after one hit...lolz ..in this caze must be a bug ..idk^^ i supose
5 in place to disable that -50 cast spell ..lolz...u should put it on elyos too lolz ...and to disable boon of strenght ..that is usless^^-lolz(i'm elyos btw)
6wen a renger si out of hide ..and attk a sorc....the sorc is dead in 5-6 seconds ...u just is imposible to respond lolz..is usless....u must have a incredible luck to resist and run ..and a miracle to kill that renger....hehe..if u do it ..they that renger was realy a noob ^^hehe^-well i think in this case the insignia can be a solution ..but i can't take all the time insignia lolz.....ahh k

Just make a glad like everyone else, they are op and they (the staff ) seem willing to give them more power (Or simply can't fix them). Also if you want to be a sorc you need hp build and pvp gear to be competitive and don't expect to kill a ranger that knows his stuff any time soon, rangers are made to counterattack sorcs.

 

hmm i see cause you want sorcerer to be the stronghest ..and one tip..the root dissapear after atack in oficial serv. so is normal..not a bug the glad root is different ..without that the glad is useless ..and i see cause you are the only sorc who complain .anyway i agree with the cast speed . must be fixed and most of ppl have better gears that's why you make so less dmg..you should talk to hex he is a good player sorc and he have a insane dmg .3.4 k mb

if a sm/sorc put on dot skills, like

say if im a SM, and im fighting a glad, if i do infernal pain, erosion, cyclone of wrath, summon fire energy, sandblaster and i root them, the root WILL NOT break, but if i root, and THEN do my dot's, it will break.

and for attack speed, it was always like that, but now since 2.0 newer gold/orange named items have cast speed instead of attack speed, it depends on the set.

don't bother coming on forums , to try to get Carl and the devs to change the game mechanics.

LOL at number 4- not only on this server even at retail sorc's rot dissapear after 1 attack thats why we make a delayed attack first
and at the 5- dude elyos should be stronger and asmos faster but now my boon of quickness do the same effect of ur boon of strenght and that is rlly unfair and u can kill a hide ranger if u got good reflects

 

insignia doesnt stop u from getting jumped out of hide when u dont have it its better the way it is right now.

the atk speed also made me wonder what the idea was

root is fine, buys u time to cast nukes. wouldnt change it

the crit rate makes me wonder if there is any cap at all sounds weird

Attack speed reduces the casting animation thats why people combine weapons with casting speed AND attack speed...

Crits are supposed to do that....

on Gamez we have pvp damage reduction just like retail does so...get used to it?

Roots have always been broken when you hit someone..in retail and if they don't in other servers well thats their mistake and ankle snare is not supposed to break when you get hit its all working just as it should.

get a casting speed orb/book some scrolls and use the other casting speed skill you'll do just fine.

Rangers are a bursting class and your squishy because you have very little armor Aion was designed to have classes that counter other classes..and its not impossible its very simple if you play sorc well.

well, attack speed does not work here like it does in retail,
attack speed for casters, like sm and sorc, make your skill animations go faster for faster dmg, cast speed only effects how fast is casted, now how fast the animation is.


cast speed - faster skill cast time
attack speed - faster skill animation

its why people on retail combine cast + attack speed tomes/orbs.

 

is there no magic boost cap? 3.4k mb lolz? -.- no wonder i got hit by sorc so much ( started playing crystal few days ago)

 

i have 3.4k now without the temporary buffs had 3.9k with boon of strength when they screwed up BoQ xD was fun

not sure i follow...wasnt attack speed related to orb hits and crap like that? casting speed decrease makes the animation faster too. dont think id ever swap casting speed for atk speed

 

1: Casting Speed on gloves was implemented in 2.0, that's why nothing before that has it.

2: Glads have among one of the highest consistent DPS in game, and one of the highest if they use dual wield.

3: Sorc damage in this server is higher than the official - nothing to complain about.

4: Roots are still bugged, and so are many other moves, but at least they do their most basic function and that's enough for now.

5: Boon of Strength is useless, but on this server where it doesn't waste a stigma slot, who's going to complain?

6: Rangers were made to kill sorcs. Class advantage is what it's called. If you outwit the ranger, you win.

cast speed just increases its cast like
a 1 second spell could be a 0.5 second spell with cast speed,

but the animation will stay the same, like say flame spray,
the damage for flame spray shows and goes when the guys stick their tongues out, with cast speed they'll pop up and stick their tongues out quicker, for faster dmg, and no, don't switch cast for attack speed, but do a tome or orb that has attack speed, and combine with your orb/tome so you can have attack and cast speed.

 

think u meant with atk speed they stick their tongues out faster still dont think its all that important. casting speed = can start using other skills, dont have to care bout when the other1 hits xD
